As a mechanic or sorts for over 50 years and now teaching air brakes (drum s cam and disk) this is I will say one of the better videos I have seen. You are personable but better yet as good as that is you are knowledgeable. Too many YT "mechanics" teach the shirt tail way (this is how Bob, and Bill before him and Sam before him did it.... I think you get it) I like your authority, your knowledge and our speaking voice is smooth as butter. Great video would really like to use it for the bench segment prep for my guys working on Disk Air Brakes. BTW we work on garbage trucks and container roll offs so we get stinky nasty brakes often. Good job!

You crack me up. I'm doing a pad replacement on school bus on Monday that goses down dirt roads Monday through Friday. The amount of caked on mud is of the scale.

Good video. When I do a pad change the kit comes with new hardwaredware including the sheer adapters. I save the old ones just in case.

One of the easiest disc brakes to work on.. Done a bunch of these. Also to check is the slides are worn out. Had one the bushings were worn out . The caliper would move up and down..

Ohk i did everything that way but u can drive a bit then it locks up when i go to adjustment points they are tight i loose them 5 klinks drive about 2km then they bind again

Hey , what can be wrong i did 3 clicks when applying brake pedal it holds when parking brakes are set no brakes , even i tried 1 click still the same , the chambers are designed to hold on when using parking brakes non of the 4 tires is holding brakes when you pull the knob

It sounds like the tappets may be sized. The adjuster should move in both directions with the brakes released.
