How do you feel about the new cut blocking rules in college football. Army is moving more to a pistol style Coastal Carolina triple option.

It's definitely not helping things. My tin-foil hat theory is the NCAA wants more flashy downfield passing to create a more "exciting" product for casual fans

@@Flexbone101 agreed. Although, and I do not watch tape to confirm, but people are saying that Airforce does not cut block as much as army/navy. Is that true? How good can these academy schools be within the new rules? Do you think there is a way to mitigate it or produce cut block level success with other blocking techniques?

I was just watching some 2014 GT and 2015 Navy games and they cut way more than I’ve seen from Air Force especially on the edge given the new rules. I think Air Force is kind of showing you can still run the flexbone well even without cutting.

@@brandonhuberty8636 That's true. This past year I became a big fan of their offense. I love how they will use multiple formations include the flexbone. Hopefully they can do this to prevent the offense from going away.

Do you think Nebraska would have more success in the Big 10 if they ran the flexbone? I always wanted Nebraska to get Paul Johnson back in 2008 instead of Georgia Tech. He was 2nd or 3rd on Tom Osborne's (he was AD) coaching search list at the end of '07, so it almost happened.

It could work and have some success, but then again, when you play better teams they'll just destroy the triple option/flexbone offenses. Gerogia did this all the time to Paul Johnson's GT. They could barely do anything. Unfortunately with how things are these days, you won't have a ton of success with this style of offense, as the game has changed drastically.

I think using the coastal carolina offense could work. But the straight flexbone not sure if they could recruit it. All things being equal with talent the triple option would destroy teams. But assuming you are not getting top 25 classes on offense it would be difficult.

Hey I was just wondering will you be doing anymore coastal Carolina cut ups?

You should go back to the old ways of showing this with sound, no music and showing every play with highlight feel

It all depends on how I get the film/who has the rights to it. But good feedback
