Air France's new cabins

June 24, 2014, Air France inaugurated its first Boeing 777 equipped with its new cabins.
For the first time, customers were able to enjoy the new Economy cabin, offering optimum travel com-fort, and Premium Economy, with 40% additional space. They also discovered the new Business class, a real cocoon in the sky.
These cabins are being progressively installed on 44 Boeing 777, the heart of Air France's long-haul fleet:
- Close to 10,000 Economy seats
- More than 1,100 Premium Economy seats
- 2,102 new Business class seats
The new cabins will be available by the end of 2014 to Singapore, Jakarta, Tokyo-Haneda, Houston and Shanghai. Douala, Dubai and Sao Paulo will follow early 2015.

+jordan almengor except they're not going to have any dreamliner apparently. They're all for KLM. Air France will use the much better A350. Why much better? Because the economy seats are much wider. 18 inches (45,7cm), witch was the standard for the past 20 years, compare to the high density 16.9 inches (42.9cm) on the Boeing. When people are already complaining on the 17.2 inches (43.7cm) seats of the B777. The A380 has 19.5 inches (49.3cm) seats in economy.

this is a wrong comercial. This new cabin is on the boeing 777 and there are four first class seat per cabin.And there are totaly 8 frist class suite on that aircraft.

+Quocviet congtyTNHH This is not wrong, all Boeing 777-300ER will feature the new cabin and there will be only 4 first class seats on the plane, this new interior by far only for the 777-300ER, the old cabin has 8 first class but not the new cabin. The whole fleet will be retrofitted with the new cabin and will be finished at the end of 2016

When flying Air France in business class, fly the 777. It's a lie flat seat but on the a380 it's angled lie flat and not nearly as comfortable.

+jacques Leroy configuration haute densité à 10 sièges de front (3-4-3) avec des siège de 17,2 pouces, environ 2,5cm plus étroit que le standard de la classe éco en (18"). Beaucoup de cie se mette à faire comme ça. Le pire devant être le B787 avec 16,9". Heureusement Air France devrait ne mettre que les B777 en haute densité. C'est KLM qui va se récupérer les B787. Air France aura les A350 qui ont des sièges standard en 18". les A330 et A340 ayant également des sièges standard en 18". Au contraire l'A380 a des sièges environ 3 cm plus large que le standard avec 19,5".

Although the cabin may look "chic" in the video, the reality is that those thinner seats are definitely not comfortable for long haul flights. Synthetic leather coating on those seats make you sweat like an elephant (and I am not a sweating person myself) - because it is not airy fabric. Looking "Chic" is a bad new trick.

C'est dommage, j'ai remarqué que sur des vols de 2 heures avec Air Algérie on avait droit en économie à 1 repas complet, 1 bagage cabine + 1 accessoire et bagages en soute de 30 kg maximum, alors que... chez Air France on a soit des chips salées et une boisson, soit un croissant avec une boisson et pour le midi un sandwich... je croyais vraiment que Air France allait être plus luxueux que Air Algérie mais pour une fois je trouve que AH domine AF sur le plan confort des passagers économie...

Très jolie mais le service abord se dégrade, les gâteau secs salées à l'huile d'olive et romarin c'est juste pas possible! Je préfère payer abord et avoir un repas correct et pas ça alors que avant on avais un repas correct. Adios AF je quitte même la business pour aller à Buenos Aires 👎👎👎👎

Se n'est pas parce que un vol ta déçu qu'il faut réagir ainsi, Perso j'ai toujours étais satisfait de la qualité et du confort des vol Air France je revient d'un voyage en Floride et pour mon retour j'ai pris la compagnie allemande lufthansa et bien à coté de mon repas tes gâteau secs serais digne d'un 3 étoile c'était imboufable et c'était par la première fois que cette compagnie me faisait le coup alors que chez Air France la cuisine a toujours étais bonne du moins bien plus au dessus que celle de la concurrence alors ne braque pas trop vite je te rappelle que Air France et l'une des meilleur compagnie aérienne au monde depuis des années ses qu'il doit bien avoir une raison
