I loved watching this series. One of my favorites. I'd say one of my favorite scenes from the show was of when Kazu shines in a sprint race.

If you have not read the manga, READ IT. The show was amazing but definitely read the manga for the full story because it gets WILD. This is one of the very few animes that deserve a remake. Now it sits in the same space as Gangsta, Deadman Wonderland, High School of the Dead, etc. Its at least memorable to people in some type of way. Usually they never know this anime by its name but by the rollerblades/skates at least. I recommend it to them, they watch it and come back wondering why it was never continued lol

I fucking love Air Gear, I just can't finish the manga though. It's not that the manga is bad or that I don't want to read, but when I'm done, that's it. Air Gear as I know it is technically over for me. Even though I know what happened in the end because spoilers I dont know everything in between. It took me 9 years to watch the OVAs. I was so hyped watching all 3 OVAs but after that I just felt empty, like I lost something. After I found out about "Special Trick" I got another boost of dopamine, followed by a mild crash after the episode concluded. I felt the exact same way with "The World Ends With You" and stayed on the first level for 1 year, pretty much got to level 100 before the 4th day and all because I thought they would never make a new one. Once they announced a second game I finished it up and now again I'm stuck not playing it because the sales or this game were even worse. Small rant and venting, sorry.
