Damn this brings back memories!! It's 2011, I'm 18 and dumb kid. I've just graduated from high school, and just working until my ship date, for the military, arrived at the beginning of 2012. I'm chilling at home since I didn't work that day. And the Nintendo Wii* was still at the height of it's popularity and I'd figured how to get my fathers' Netflix on the console**. I get Netflix all loaded up and immediately head to the anime section for new series I hadn't seen yet since I knew that I wasn't gonna be able to enjoy this kind of comfort once I shipped out. Thru my extensive vetting process of what to watch, I come across this gem and this was proof my process worked for me. I proceeded to watch every available episode that day. This was one of the earliest series in my adult viewing of anime that helped figure out my genre/series preferences as an adult. I'd watched anime since forever to ago. Circa the original Toonami run on Cartoon Network, when it is was on weekday afternoons. Tom was still a small robot at this point. I'm now almost 30, and life has taken me on quite the journey thus far. But the one thing that's not changed, not will it ever, is my love of anime. Excuse my rant, sometimes my feelings work like they should. 😅 Especially when I'm talking about something I enjoy. If you've made it this far, you have a good day. Been rereading the Manga, god I love this series. Small thing for anyone who hasn't read the Manga and only can go off the subs in the video: Simca isn't saying that Ringo is her older twin sister in that flashback. That's a mistranslation. She is saying that Ringo is an ally of her (Simca's) older twin Brother, the Stone King Kilik. Simca is years older than Ringo.

Maybe it was a good thing Hako switched Kururu’s regalia with hers. Ikki needed the power of darkness to exhaust Ringo’s Sonia Road Thorny Max. It was a lucky break. There was no way a beginner like Ikki would’ve beat Ringo by being tuned by someone as balanced as Kururu.

Ringo's hypocrisy never ceases to amaze,she kept yapping about "being free and flying without regalias equals being free" yet she is using a sub-regalia during this fight and she is also genetically engineered human who's designed to be able to merge naturally with regalias and unleash her full power.🤦‍♂ She had no right or moral ground to lecture Ikki about freedom,definitely the worst female character in the story and also the most toxic one when it comes to being a potential love interest for Ikki. Mad props to Ogure for making an ending where Ikki seemingly NTR'd Ringo by choosing to go on a date with Simca while leaving Ringo angry about it.🤣

Ringo such a bitch. Anyone Ikki believed either betrayed him or used him. IIf I was Ikki I would never forgive anyone but hate Ringo forever. Maybe a little chance I might make Smica my girlfriend but never trust her. The best girl was probably Kukuru who almost never betrayed him. Except the time helped her dad to win against Ikki to prove her ability. Still, I understand why Ikki loves Simca.

No one in Sleeping forest use Real regalia with the Kings core. I mean Ringo never call herself queen of thorn road. The regalia she use only mean it made specially for her the "Crazy apple". The Thorn Regalia Core is with someone else.

Somehow i felt stupid watching this. Felt that, Ikki is idiot. Dude changes his decisions too fast I think. One time he was too emotional but then didn't do shit to knowing attcker and only fought bcoz other one started it.Bruh like if i had known that someone almost crippled someone I know. I would not forget it that lightly and won't let other side go that easily tbh. Somehow girl had good reasons but she felt nothing more than idiot, too selfcentred,annoying one that pushes her ideals on others without much reasoning and knowing others reasons. Damn it's same as many other FMCs. And girl was destroying shit here and there, that could be dangerous for other ppl life. Isn't that hypocrisy after all that preaching of blood and this that? Edit: After reading spoiler and seeing this, i think don't have enough intrest to watch this one. But it seems really high rated by ppl.

i had a fucking stroke reading this holy shit, and yeah, you shouldnt watch it because the anime never completely covered the manga, and the OVAs are just random cool stuff happening later on in the manga to boost manga sales, the OVAs do not happen in order of the real story either, do yourself the massive favor and read the manga, extremely good, and more than 300 chapters worth

This is just an OVA. It comes waayy after where S1 stops- unfortunately, S2 was canceled, so to keep manga sales going, we got this after a while to highlight a major twist in the series. There are 2 more OVAs and they all take place at different timestamps in the plot of the manga.
