Both the airlines, Air India and Vistara, are owned by Tata Group, and both airlines catering is served by Taj Sats, which is also owned by Tata Group. So, you can't judge the food because, in the end, all the meals are prepared by the same chef in the same kitchen; it just depends on which flight you are travelling on and what they have on the menu that day.

Ok I have traveled both and this my experience- so air india has better food than vistara but vistara flights are more cheaper then air india so In my choice vistara is better considering the vibe and complimentary food to😊

Actually that's not the way to compare food as catering services depend on the departure airport rather than the company itself. Next time leave from Delhi once from vistara second time using Air india
