Air Inflation for Segway Ninebox Max Scooter : Xiaomi Air Compressor vs Bicycle Pump

The stock adapter for air inflation of the Segway Ninebot Max Scooters is often unreliable and prone to losing air as your unscrew it. I bought a Xiaomi Air Compressor after some positive testimonials and it works much better!

Omg I just bought this Xiaomi pump and used it with the extender and was just trying to find how to stop the tires from deflating when taking out the hose. I didn't realise you could use it WITHOUT the extender!!!

It just goes to show how much air we loose using the old method. This demonstration certainly proves your theory . I use one for my car tyers just a different brand, but it's the best gizmo I've bought in a while .

You can also avoid this problem by using an extender equipped with a non return valve. They're usually in the form of a solid brass tube. Got mine from Amazon.

It looks like each time you screw the extender in the tire, the other end unscrew from the conventional pump, and vice versa.

The floor pump does but the Xiaomi Air Compressor works as is

What you do is slightly overfill your tires. Set it to 40 as you will lose a little air anyway and it will go to about 37 psi no matter what. It’s what I do and it works fine. It’s what I do with my bike and car tires.

That works too but the precise PSI all depends how quickly you're able to unscrew the valve.

I'm surprised that adapter didn't come with a quick connect. I always overinflate a couple pounds knowing you'll lose something in the disconnect. You should also get a tire gauge so you can check pressure on the fly. What have you been using for your car? These things are a must, unless you got a hole in your tire of course.

I used to overinflate it to get it to the correct pressure when unattaching the valve. My car can check PSI on its own digitally, but this device can also measure PSI too and fill up a car tire!

omg yes, that.. less air every time you try was drivin me crazy 🤣.. get a valve stem extension!!! thats the same extender i had. gotrax. it sucks lol you have to screw it in forever.. by the time you get it out, the tire is empty. get a valve stem extension.

Your front tire is mounted in reverse, there is an arrow on the side of the tire that shows the direction that the tire is suppose to turn and yours is backwards. You need to rotate it as soon as possible, it`s not safe to ride it like that. Really enjoying your videos, coming to NY in May, can`t wait.😀

hi, I have a question. In the xiaomi air pump 2, electric scooter tyre pressure is at default 50 psi, which I tried to convert to bar is 3.44738 according to google conversion. I checked my vespa lx125 manual, it says front tyre pressure 1.6 bar while rear tyre pressure 2.0 bar. I am puzzled as in why does my electric scooter required twice the air pressure of my vespa scooter tyre? Can anyone help me to understand?

They do! I got one and they definitely stop as it reaches your target PSI.
