Air Integration Transmitter Low Battery: The Shocking Crisis You Can Avoid

Do you use an Air Integration with your setup? What Transmitter brand do you use? Have you ever changed the battery? How often?

I use a Shearwater Swift transmitter. I haven't needed to replace the battery yet. The Swift transmitter doesn't have a port at the top. You need to use a supplied 1.5mm hex screwdriver to remove the housing.

yes, swift is a bit different on how you replace the battery...but it remains similar in terms of other aspects, like battery time, o-rings (yes, it has double o-rings which is great) and screens warning... my 1st battery last over a year, however, the 2nd one did not last 6 months (but i was diving quite a lot).... from my experience, from Ok to warning, it will last long...warning to critical...will last few hours...but critical to dead...its just couple of minutes... i always have spare batteries with me just in case...and as soon as i get the warning...its time to change...(unless i'm underwater)...and this is why i always have an SPG with me...just in case this video from ShearWater shows how to replace if other people are interested kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYarpqqEdrN6pqc
