I might get some flak for this, but personally I'm not as big a fan of the bred/royal colorblocking even though they are legendary. I need that white midfoot panel wall to give more contrast to the shoe and make the other colors pop. but i think i'll still pick these up

I have a hate/love relationship with this. I told myself i’d cop them if they dropped. The colorway itself is fire, but there’s small details throwing me off like the red nike tag and the over tumbled leather. It looks like a crocodiles’ nutsack 😞

I agree with Akram...people are going to sleep on these. I hope to get a pair. I agree with you too that the patch is overdone. It looks like a drop shadow behind it. They should have just left it alone. And the red laces are ridiculous..should've given us green or white. If I DO get these (fingers crossed), I just plan on using the black ones. It’s a change of texture bruh lol to change things up a bit. Tbh I think they were trying to go for a reptile/dinosaur look. If you ask me, the over tumbled makes the green look like the skin of a lizard with red eyes (the red tag on the tongue)

Not a fan. Leather texture is overdone, the monochrome black wings logo isn't it, and the red Nike logo on the tongue is unbecoming. In my opinion, JB is milking the AJ1 silhouette by releasing all these subpar colorways. They know everyone wants the true OG colorways, but they're trying to keep the hype and premium. Hard pass.
