This is probably my favorite colorway of all Jordan 1’s yes my favorite color is blue, but it’s perfect in a sense of it checks all the boxes for me. As far as the color blocking goes, I’m just saying it definitely makes me understand why they call them “Royal Toe”... all the color is in the toe. To me it just makes sense to go with black on heel and wing portion and emphasis the toe. Just my thoughts 🤷🏻‍♂️

I shared your sentiments about the color blocking when they first released the images. But now, I really like these. My thing is, if it had the same color blocking as the bred toes, it would just be a Fragment with a color toe, and this shoe would be irrelevant. Them switching it up, make it's unique and it's own shoe.

the color blocking really bothered us too! in our review, we came to the conclusion that the color blocking isn't actually that unbalanced. we think the white wings logo makes it feel much more unbalanced by drawing your eye away from the royal on the ankle. The medial side looks much better than the lateral side since it excludes the wings logo and that touch of white.

color blocking is ok but quality on this is sub-par @2:22 The women's only Vogue Air Jordan 1 leather quality is the Chanel/Hermès of Jordan 1 and it may be mass-produced in limited amount but some veteren sneakerhead operating sneaker cleaning shop that I brought the shoes in for maintenance had mentioned the leather on the Vogue 1s is something they had not seen or felt before. It requires special aftercare and attention.

I think they picked this color blocking to avoid them looking like frags. the only difference between the frags and a "royal toe" colorblocking like the SBB, Bred toe, pine green 1.0, and court purple 1.0 would hav been the blue color on the toe. if they did this the value of the frags would have probably dropped and made this shoe the perfect cheaper alternative.

I tend to disagree the balance on this shoe is on point. All the black swings around the shoe, with the blue on the front and top back looks more balanced than the others if you ask me. The white logo complements the white middle. My opinion is they did a good job on these. 🔥🔥🔥
