I’m the type of sneaker head to wait 6 years to get sneakers when they aren’t hyped anymore lol.. these came out when I was an 8th grader and Def did not have any money for a sneaker like this .. as a 20th Bday gift .. I snagged these like new for about 120.. patience is key with anything haha

I would say that the "re-mastered" ones actually look like a basketball shoe. Where the older released double nickels look like plastic

I really really dislike the 45s on the 10s, or any number there. I feel it ruins the whole clean look and I wish I'd love it because it's such a nice shoe, but it really didn't make sense for me to buy something I don't visually like just because it has nice quality.

I have the 2012 version and I mos definitely agree just straight weak and the flatness and leather grain very low quality and the red color is painted crappy on the sole along the side u can see it's terrible!!! I need this years version for sure the 45 adds that touch !!! Btw keep the videos coming in a big supporter weartesters is legit !!! Thanks for giving us shoe after shoe reviews !! It's 2024 and next year in 2025 will be the 30 year anniversary of the infamous Double Nickel game. The Jordan 10 haven't been re-released as of now.

Different opinion: My 2015 pair seems to be similar condition as yours. But my 2012 is in way better shape than yours, hence better than the 2015 pair. In fact, comparing them side by side, the 2015 is in very sloppy shape. Leather looks and feels better, but not by a lot either. Definitely not worthy the price to me. And please, would like to have more performance products available for us overseas fans.

Unfortunately, mine are pretty trash... grabbed two pairs on release day back in '12 at Foot Locker - no hype back then - and they were nice at the time, but I've also held OG versions of the shoe in hand before and the Double Nickel is in fact the closest thing we've had to OG since the OG. Glad your '12 pair is nice though.

I'm glad you got them. I was this close to sleeping on them only because I've been going crazy with the spending since All Star. I rolled up to House of Hoops at 8:45pm just 15 minutes before closing on release day and they were sitting. Excellent cop if anyone can still get them. 10s are amazing with that full length air unit too. Nightwing what's your opinion on those going down .5 to minimize creasing? I love mine at TTS.
