In 1995, Michael Jordan returned to the court, to his true element, and reminded everyone that he was still "his airness."
Maybe you've already heard this story.
After returning from baseball, Jordan earned his 10th All-Star selection, his second All-Star game MVP, and led his league by scoring 30.4 points per game. Just as you're reading, and he also won his third MVP award.
MJ completed those individual accomplishments with a 72-10 record (at the time, the best ever) and fourth championship.
And he did it all wearing the Air Jordan 11.
The Air Jordan 11, currently an icon of modernity, arrives in the new "Varsity Red (Cherry)" colorway: the classic Chicago colors for an all-time classic style.
DETAIL:
The essence of the design of this style can be found on the back heel and tongue.
On the back heel, it features a varsity red Jumpman embroidered on the white leather along with Jordan's number 23, which is embroidered in white on the varsity red lining.
On the tongue, an embroidered strip displays the legend "JUMPMAN JORDAN", which can only be read properly when the shoe is turned over and viewed from a vertical angle.
Cushioned sole
The semi-transparent, frosted rubber sole adds a touch of translucent sole to the Air Jordan 11 "Varsity Red Cherry", and harmonizes with the white midsole that in turn matches the upper.
Plus, the full-length Air-Sole unit provides lightweight, responsive cushioning to keep you comfortable all day long.
