The truth is people thought this was going to be limited. You had several people before the drop saying sneaker of the year. We found out later everyone had a opportunity. I'm in my late 40s and had all of the early Jordan's, but with time I grew out of all the hoopla. But these are just beautiful, especially in hand, these are clean and elevated for my current lifestyle. Love 'em. I missed out on getting a 2nd pair for stashing this morning in SNKRS. I will use these babies on special occasions, maybe a handful of times per year to make them last.

Yuuuup - this is the only J3 in a long, long time I would have doubled up on. It's a more mature look - I don't want to stomp around in elephant print all of the time and I really don't want to pay the same amount for worse materials like the White Thunder that came out right after. This shoe was a win all-around. The people that wanted them, got them or even a couple pairs without having to pay resell. Nothing wrong with that. Nobody over 30 cares wtf the resell price is if you ain't paying it or selling it. You really don't know how special this shoe is until you have it in hand - you have an idea, but you don't know. This was a bad one to sleep on. When people wake up after seeing the quality control of the Black Cement 3, it'll hurt 🤣

I love em. They look so much better in hand. IRL they not even that reminiscent of the black cements. Obviously the colorblocking is similar but the hues and materials really make it its own thing. I gotta say though that for a luxury style collab the qc aint that great. I got a glue stain on the suede and one tongue is noticeably longer than the other. The tongue kinda long in general. Reminds me of the early 2010s Jordan 3s more than recent releases

I was a bit on the fence because just like you were saying, I'm definitely going to pick up the BC3's and I wasn't sure about another dark colored 3 in the rotation but I figured if I hit, I hit and I won't stress either way. Man I love the 3s…by far my favorite Jordan model. I personally like these better than the OG white pair. Both are really dope though! I ended up doubling up on these because I liked them that much. These won’t hit the outlets because they’ve been selling out whenever a boutique has dropped them today, and this is from what I’ve seen so far. They might sit around retail on the aftermarket for a while, but don’t be surprised when you see these shoot up in price a year from now

Your videos and detailing of the shoes are on point. I’m waiting for my A Ma Maniére 3’s , which should be arriving tomorrow. They could’ve spaced the releases of the A Ma Maniére and the black cement because of the similarities and cost. I’m still coping a pair of the black cement 3’s regardless but everyone might not be able to do that. Some people have to make a choice financially when the drops are so close. Bad marketing in my opinion.

Cool pair for sure!..Won on the site raffle..only nitpick for me is that it would have been cool if they incorporated the A10 logo somewhere on the shoes..like if there was a stitched A10 on the side panel of the heel..like they have done with the J5 stitched 23 on past 5’s….Put the A10 logo in all of the upcoming release..so in the sense you know its the "10th Anniversary" pairs... there is this older GQ interview with Whitner on YT..and he stated one of his top favorite silhouettes is the Air Max 1!...I really hope they make an A Ma Air Max 1!!..they can even use the "Big Bubble" variation..lol sad that they put the A Ma treatment on the Air Max 95's first!..its iconic too but definitely not on the Air Max 1 status..lol

Black Cement 3's are DEF similar. Same silhouette, majority black leather. However I agree the "vibe" is different. 1. Suede vs. Elephant print. 2. Colors: Pewter (Grey)/Violet Ore vs. Cement Grey/Fire Red. 3. Nylon quilted sock-liner vs. Fleece sock-liner. 4. Branding: Collab vs. OG. IMO the AMM AJ3 WYWS exudes a mature/luxury vibe while the AJ3 BC's has an obtrusive/athletic vibe. Just my thoughts.

But also theres two classics for cheaper the bc3 and legend blue 11s coming later and i want those more. Facts 😂 I just tried to cop on SNKRS App no luck. I hit for the white thunders on there Saturday tho. Luckily I was prepared for the BS and had a seller offer for $250 on ebay.
