The loss of the full length zoom strobel is pretty big IMO. The heel cushion on the 37s is non existent. I do like the look but it’s lacking in performance compared to the 36. Kd15 is dope too with the strobel.

Got these today on champs sports for 99.99. Had em on sale for 119 then there was a 20 dollar off promo code for orders over 100.! Watched a lot of reviews and every single one was solid on this shoe. Also ya did a great job here man!!!! Been rockin the zion 2 and love those but think these will actually work better for me and from everything I've watched these have a lot of bounce which is what I need. 41 yrs old but set a goal to not just dunk a basketball but throw one fn down in front of my 2 boys who are just gettin really started with hoops.

Awesome review! Planning on getting these. Just a question though. Did you have the pinky toe issue (blisters) that some people were talking about with the 36s (Low and/or Mid)?

The width on the mids were more narrow than these were. A bit more forgiving forsure. I hope that helps ✌🏼

@@BC21beats yeah glad I stuck with them after breaking them in they are by far my favorite shoe. At 32 the double stack zoom in the forefoot gives me zero knee pain even after long sessions.

Went up half a size coz’ my normal US 9.5 fits snug and killing my toe nail 🤣 Only issue I have is I can feel the dead space in the toe box when running/ walking. Is there any remedy to fix this issue?

I went tts and stuffed the toe box with 3 socks for 3 days. It stretched the materials out and help alleviate the pinky toe killer

Anyone know if these still destroy pinky toes like the 36highs? I'm having to return mine because of this issue which breaks my heart cos these are gorgeous! I'm hoping that extra length of leather down the side and not round the toe cap was done to fix this well known pinky toe issue... 🤞🤞🤞

Not nearly as tight as the regular 36s. I found stuffing the toe box overnight with 3-4 socks helped alleviate some of that narrowness.

@@ivanmamuyac Sometimes you'll get heel slippage when a shoe is brand new because the shoe itself is stiff and it has not broken in as yet. Unless a shoe has a flexible forefoot out of the box, there's a good chance you'll get some heel slippage until it breaks in.

There’s exactly the same support. The regular 36 has about half an inch of an ankle collar worth of different. All other support features are 1:1

They have the same back construction except for ankle collar height --- what the higher collar height of the Mids (regular version) gives you is more ankle restriction and for some people that gives them a needed sense of 'security' because the higher collar prevents you from moving your foot as freely as a Low would.

I usually have a thumb width but starting to think half a size down would feel better. In the video is that an index finger width it or closer to thumb width? Do your touch the tip of the shoe on a hard stop?

Just barely an index finger width. Just touches the end by a hair. I used to do thumb width but started sizing .5 down with thinner socks for a more 1:1 fit. Best of luck!!!
