In this video we go over the Air Jordan 38:
This model saw an improvement in both comfort and cushion from my experience - no stiff feeling on feet, no more pinching anywhere from the materials. Traction works well on both clean and dusty courts, but frequent wipes are needed to prevent dust from accumulating. You can either go true to size or half size down with the Jordan 38, sizing up is NOT recommended given some dead space in the leather toe box. Overall, I found the quality, design, and performance to be on-point with its hefty price tag. If you find it to be expensive, they’ll likely go on sale later on.

I don’t have much issue with my 37s , they’re more of like a high performance racing car 🏎️ without the plushness. while the 38s maybe more like an expensive Benz

I tried these on, and just from try-on they feel amazing. Responsive forefoot & cushion at the heel (my own preference), awesome materials, wide foot friendly…..this colorway is the best, but I hope they make more.

@@thahomie773 retro J’s I’m typically 8 because they run big, current J’s/Nikes 8.5/9, depends, and I’m a bit of a wide footer, for context. 8.5 was perfect for me. And the leather at the toe feels great, so if they fit a bit snug I think they would warm up & conform after a while.

My issue with my AJ 37 is containment. Maybe because I sized up from 9.5 to 10 since i felt a little pinching with former. Other that, it's pretty great. I love my takeoff and landing. I love the bred colorway also.

Durability wise these 38 are not so good. I think the mid foot foam they have used is too soft and with the additiona harderl material they have add on top really didn't help either. Iack of mid foot shank plate is also a missed. Overall 6/10 it really should be higher due to its nice classic look.

Don’t get this shoe. I bought these recently and after one session of indoor pick up 5v5, the sole was coming apart. There was chipping on the edges, and the right side of the other shoe, the edges of the sole were coming apart! It was a good 4 inches of peeling back. The QC on these were atrocious. Jordan needs to learn from this. There was just too many materials stacked on top of each other. And that is why it wasn’t a solid feel, and it didn’t have a good foundation. I’m 6’2 240lbs. Good thing I bought from Nike app, and they accepted my return without question and issued a full refund. Don’t buy!!

Is it just me or these Jordans are getting uglier and uglier? I get it, Jordan Brand (JB) is trying look different and are implementing technology for ‘performance’ - I think they are over doing things which drives the price up. JB is trying to market their shoes to look different like Hardens and WOWs - but these newer Jordans look ugly.
