I just hate punk suckas who think they can cut lines, think they own the place, and want to bully customers over shoes. Last year, I was at my local JD waiting in line for leftover WC3s. Raffle winner pickup deadline was at 5pm, then it's fcfs. 15 after, some dude and his rachet wife who also had an infant she was carrying was stopped by an employee in charge of the line, asking them if their waiting for WC3 leftovers or just shopping. They said shopping. All of a sudden, we all heard loud yelling, arguing, and name calling. It was that couple who missed the deadline to pick their pair up. The store was busy. I saw everyone stop what they were doing watching the drama. The manger comes out, calls security, and the couple were cussing like crazy, and blurring out stupidity saying it's because their black, JD is racist, etc. I'm black, and idiots like that is an embarrassment to me and the sneaker culture as well. There's no excuse to be acting stupid and arguing over a damn shoe! Dude who confronted you just could've got online and copped. Hell, there's massive amounts still available online including JD/Finishline as I'm responding to this.

I agree with you completely that these are 10000% better than the white thunders. Personally I felt the white thunders looked too kid-like. I got the W during the shock drop on the black cements and my friend secured th the Wu Dunks for me so I think I'm done for the year. *For the sock lining staining, if you spray a little sneaker protector in the area, let it dry well (at least 24 hours), you'll be good to go*

Like u said, you don't know how crazy other ppl are, and once u start interacting w a stranger outside in the world, not just over sneakers, you just don't how that will result. For me, when you already know you got the shoes, whatever this guy says is wrong; I'll be like, "Yeah ok. I'll speak to you later" instead of going back&forth. Even more difficult if you're both waiting for the store to open for sure.

I agree, no shoes are worth fighting over, but I don’t think people fight over the product itself, it’s more of the principle of the situation. Me and my son use to wait in line for shoe releases until unfortunately someone pulled out a knife on us and threatened us during a panda dunk release in 2021 (yes pandas..). Although it got pretty heated between me and that bum of a reseller. We ended up leaving cause my son was terrified over this. Thankfully I’ve been pretty savy with online drops and I’m able to get every release I want through footstore connections throughout the years. Definitely Becareful out there. No shoe is ever worth being maimed or even killed over.

No idea. They have plenty of BC3s. Maybe it was a shipping delay, etc. when the black toe 14s dropped they only got 6 pairs but then got the rest of their shipment the next week. They had more black toe 14s the day of the Olive 9 release than they had the day of the 14 release.

Although I haven't tried this myself on a shoe but if want to keep the sockliner white, you could paint it white with a fabric paint after it gets too dirty. I suggest getting Angelus paint. Although, painting it black would be a more permanent solution. Would you paint the sockliner black?

There were only 3 pairs I could get this month, the black toe 14 and BC3 were must haves so really it came down to the fear 4s or the olive 9s for the 3rd pair decided to go with OG 9s and pass on these I really like the shoe but I have the white thunders so it helped make my decision a little easier, hopefully I can circle back and pick these up someday.

@@PhenPot09 Phen first thing is spray sock liner w repellent, 2nd is be careful in the clothing that you choose to wear with the particular shoe with sock liner the pants, especially where things like joggers cargo chinos try to avoid genes if you can. If not, then just most likely it’ll take longer, but the repellent will delay the process.

The fear fives are in the plans, but I think with the performance of the threes and fours we might not see the five the four yesterday was hurt very badly by all these other releases, and that shock drop if people had money put away for the 4s ….. there it went. And you handled yourself right because you let that guy get away with that next week it’s going to be somebody else the week after that it’s going to be somebody else somebody sees you let that guy get away with that it’s gonna be the next person that does it to you and if you give that person some energy and you don’t give the next one the same energy then it might even get worse. You did the absolute right thing you didn’t get violent you stood your ground. You made sure that the Mrs. was protected as well. You do have to watch people pull out firearms nowadays it’s not that serious.
