Thanks for the video Big Homie Rich! I'm in Memorial Hospital in Savannah. Been here 2 wks & had a brush with death. Lol! Thank the Lord I was conscious on the 23rd. This video I watched from the ICU & this video made the decision for me. Was able to cop from my phone in the ICU. Lol! They came in today w/ my 7 nuthin but net & my new 42in tac flat screen Wal Mart had on sale for $220. Awesome duuude! LOL! Also my Dr told me I'm going home tomorrow tomorrow. Great day huh? 2 pairs of fly js with a biggie shirt for one & a bruiser squad shirt for the 5s. A flat screen & a being told I get to go home tomorrow with a lot of great pain meds! Lol! I agree Rich, we aren't hypebeasts because we want the NIKE Air badging on the heel. I was 10 years old when these came out '90 and I wanted a pair and could not afford them. So damn right nostalgia is the reason why us true sneakerheads appreciate the Nike air branding on the heel!! The hypebeasts weren't even born yet to know how much the Nike air branding means to us! I remember in my actual day (I'm 35 and I was alive in those days) it was a lot more exciting to have a nike sneaker wo nike branding. I'm from savannah and still live on savannah ga and I can say w confidence that it was a bigger deal NOT to have any nike branding on the shoes.

I think it has to do with what's different during those times. We were so used to seeing one thing for some time that it eventually becomes tiresome and those wanting change. Change happens and the outcome is either good or bad. I remember a point in the mid 2000s people didn't want or care for Nike Air to come back. Now the majority I feel praise and respect it. I know I certainly do. Price on the other hand for the branding, well that's a whole different story.

Now whenever I watched the sneaker con video for a few minutes all I saw was a bunch of millennials running around hypebeasting some "limited" sneakers. Those are the ones I dislike. They hype up some nike branding when the jumpman is whats really iconic and groundbreaking.
