I totally agree with you my man, if Nike really wanted “sneaker heads” to go crazy for the new Jordans, (31- 36) they should definitely bring back the retro color ways for the latest Jordans. Infrared, grape, cement just to name a few.

I followed a lot of sneaker review channels when my interest in sneakers began to grow, but Weartesters stands as the only one I watch almost every single video of to this day. Always appreciate the history lessons because as a new sneaker enthusiast I'm eager to learn about them. I'd go with the 6 Bordeaux. I've always preferred the 6 to the 7. I felt like when the 7 released it was just like a 6.1 or something. Either way, the color way is fire. I hit for my size on SNKRS, and I'm pumped to get them in hand. The fact that the insole is better than anticipated makes me even more pumped. Great review as always.

OG Bordeaux VII's are the first Jordans I remember owning as a kid (there are pictures of me in ones, but I don't remember them) and to this day the VII is my favorite model. It's nice to see they did a great job with these.

I can’t wait until mine come in. Got “Exclusive Access” on SNKRS, for the first time. These are the shoes I wanted the most out of recent releases. I love the Bordeaux colorway. I’m gonna wear tf outta them so idgaf about resale value. Never been a reseller and never payed more than retail for a shoe. I’m grateful for these.

Even in 2011-2015 when I had a REALLY good plug and could get anything, I wouldn’t overcharge people I messed with. I’d charge $20 more if I had to drive to you or ship them. Even on the yeezy 2 solars I was giving those to my boys for retail. Made sure the whole team was fresh 💯.

Honestly Nightwing I have been following your channel forever… thank you for the content.. now as far as the 7 or the 6 that’s a tuff one, on 1 hand the borduex 7s are one of the best color ways on a Jordan hands down, not only did mj wear them in the music video and on court but that was also a colorway bugs bunny sported too, now on the other hand.. my older brother gave or got me my very first pair of Jordan’s which was the maroon 6.. so sentimental value on the 6. I’m not saying the 6s are better but the color way on the 6 is to me a mix of pure perfection.. it’s like the 7 and the 6 got it on and this was the out come and yes the first Ring in a jordan 6…..roast me if you want but they are very awesome and I’m happy I was able to get a pair! Also they may not have put a 23 on it because tinker already designed it in the shoe and if you don’t know the 2 is on the back area and the 3 is on the side build.

My mom would never buy me jordan's but since I was 14 she set me up for some babysitting and I was a Paper boy and I came up with the money and got me the shoes. Long story short(too late) that colorway has a special place in my heart.

They are. Super comfortable and they don’t have that annoying jordan 6 tongue. The tongue on the 7 just stays in place .

The 6s are my favorite jordan of all time but I definitely prefer the 7s. Kind of a double standard, I think I like the 7s just because the colorway released on them first. I do like that colorway on the 6s though.

I always wished since a child that Nike/Jordan brand switched it and did a Bordeaux 6 and a Maroon 7. I felt like the silhouettes complemented the others colorway more. I need to really see if I can get my hands on these

I think that the yellow/orange lacelocks pay homage to that section of the 7s outsoles that is yellow/ orange. You can see just a tiny area of these when you look at the 7s from the side. Sorry if i did repeat that thought, i didn't scoll down all the other comments. Cheers from germany

I am a huge fan of the Bordeaux 7 . I agree the 7 in my opinion maybe the most comfortable Jordan there is ! I’m a fan of the OGs but being that these are a original color way on one of my favorite silhouettes I copped em . However the 6s are more stiff which makes them more crease proof so I put the beat on these and they stayed fresh for a year ! These were done great ! They are durable and with that smoked out sole they are built to last but 7s always !

I'd still pick the 7s all day. I loved the Jordan 7. Back in the day I had the 3, 7, 10 and 12. The 7 was my favorite. Though I have to say my favorite old school (90's) era Nike Basketball shoe is still the Air Unlimited that David Robinson wore when he won the scoring title.

Dope review guys. These are a go for me. I have been anticipating this pair since the rumors and early images leaked. That smoked translucent outsole compliments the upper so well. Just letting you know, if I can obtain a pair. I am stealing the way you utilized the lace locks. Lol. The lace locks are on of the best features on the 5s and the 6s. Plus this shoe comes with an extra pair of laces. I can't wait for the release. This might be my Jordan Retro of the year. Later.

When I first saw the Bordeauxz on dope boyz and rich kids bacc in Jr high, was the first time I fell in luv with a shoe.... I had prowingz.... these were works of art fuccn masterpiecez.... and people took em for granted kiccn roccz n shit I was appalled.... like "wtf ru doin????".... this colorway came from tinkerz original muse for the 7 which was an afropop poster.... I really like those sixes and sevens this is a sweet colourway also! I like the look I have an actually on a pair but I may actually add to the collection someday. I’m trying to decide which one I like more and it’s so difficult because each one has certain things on it that I really like. It’s hard to tell also when I haven’t worn them but I just looking at them maybe the sevens just by a little bit and I mean full length air isn’t bad also, might be more comfortable. But yeah probably would have to go with the 7s. Both are some of my favourite retros though for sure! I really like high tops when playing ball but that’s because I got smaller ankles so it just helps with the support lol 😛 but I really like some low tops also just depends on the shoe. Loved the video Chris and gf ☺️

Just copped a pair. I always liked the OG colorway, but not a fan of how the 7’s are actually low tops with a high collar. 6’s feel like a more solid shoe. Probably why they’re heavier. A def. part of my rotation now.

There are two pairs of Jordan’s that I hold near to my shoe loving heart.. one of them not being a original color way however to me the best color way in the 11 lineup.. the 72/10’s.. and my ultimate favorite pair without a doubt are the Bordeaux 7’s.. I had them when they first released and had the Hare’s as well.. I must say I have also been eyeing these Bordeaux 6’s since they were first announced last year however preferred the original picture version with the painted black souls.. however, to me these are a MUST cop.. dope video as always. Those are so dope 🔥 They did a great job with these. I liked the hare 6 as well but feel like the dropped the ball on the pinkish looking outsole. These were executed well tho. Choosing between Bordeaux 6 or 7 ... I'd have to go OG (7) but these (6) are definitely a nice cop. Good video.
