Naw I’m have to disagree with the definition of what an OG is. The OG’s had to be the colorways of the original run. For example in 92, you have the Hares, Bordeaux, Playoffs, Olympic and Cardinal 7’s and that was it. Everything after is a retro colorway

OG's, to me, are the signature shoes Michael played in; however, with my definition, that leaves open the Cool Grey 11's as a poss OG bc he wore them in Washington; I think the cutoff for my def of OG is his Chicago signature shoes or colorways.

Absolute insanity and awesome at the same time that an OG CLASSIC is sitting; I love 7's, so let the hype beasts sleep because I'll cop! Any shoe Mike played into me is no thoughts needed; it's a must-have. PS. All the people complaining about the no metal tip aglets need to realize that the original 92's did not have them either (you showed many clips and no tipped aglets); keep up the fire content!

I mean I heard they first adverted this shoe at $190 then jumped it to $210 late. Also they gave us a Jordan 5 or 6 box style as well which is a head scratcher! JB 1 step forward, 2 steps back; lol.

As a youngster this was my first Jordan, but black red and purple colorway. Still 7s always hold a place next to my soul. Copped this am via finish line. Easy and how it should be at least for a day or two after inital drop.

I'm happy I was able to complete my 06/07 sets I have the original flint 7s, citrus 7s, and cardinal 7s from back then. Now with the new retro, I'm grad have them in a bigger size but I just wish J.B/Nike kept all original with the tips flints with the sliver tips, cardinal gold, and citrus black tips

I lace swapped with Union gold laces on the citrus's, and it really makes that shoe even better; As a rule of thumb, I don't lace swap on OG's, but I can def see ppl wanting those aglets; Slickies and few other sites do sell aglet tipped laces as a heads up; salutes to all my fellow 7's fans!

loved 7s since 06, n picking every og everytime they drop. putting my 06 gold tips on these, cause my 06 crumbled but still have the laces. btw on the back where it says 23... behind it is also the number 7 in red in that triangle. so every 7 has it.

I still need to get my pair as the reason 7's has been one of the most comfortable retros is they have been using a full-length air unit (it was not in the originals 7's and is like the tech in the 11); since this is supposed to be as close to the OG as possible, I think we only get an encapsulated unit in the heel and the forefoot. WHY can you check your pair to see if we got a full-length air or the two small jaunts? (you should be able to feel it under the insole easily if its full length)

Jordan brand will never sign someone and give them a signature shoe like Jordan brand. Like now the 37 are Jordans brands flagship shoe it's modeled after the 7 and if you look 2022 they dropped a lot of 7s. In today's time people don't want leathers and suede on sneakers like they did in the 80s and 90s. They use basketball shoes to ball and use Jordan retros to style in. They want modern shoes are light.
