i like that you did a video of the AIR KING 30 INCH INDUSTRIAL PEDESTAL FAN Christopher Shannon. it's a Model: 9715. it is also a good fan and it moves a ton of Air. it has a Pull Chain, Oscillating Knob, and Three Metal Blades. it also goes on HIGH-MEDIUM-LOW. it also has a very very very very Long Spin Down Time!!!!

Wow the 30in Air king industrial fan looks so identical to the 30in Lasko Industrial fan here how it’s very Identical to each other reason 1: it’s all gotta do with the blades the blades have the same shape as Laskos industrial fan but the difference is that the blades on the air king are black and the blades on the Lasko is silver

wow that's the longest spin down I've seen yet I have the air king 9212 12" and the 9214" 14" our Church has the 9420 20" pedestal fan

I wish they would make these type of fans for residential home use instead of us having to spend a lot of money to keep replacing cheap & plastic fans. Too bad these fans are only industrial use.

Christopher Shannon NO SUCH THING as only industrial use! this is in a 25x15 residential garage. it's very quiet on low and moves a ton of air, and on high, yes is does make more noise but if you need a good blast of air it can not be beat. some commenters on amazon say it's too much power for your home garage but i dont find that to be true especially for how quiet it is.

+Christopher Shannon So did you ever buy one, and if so, how do you like it? Air King makes some good fans. My mother has the model 9212 floor fan that she bought by accident, and I have the 9214 that was originally supposed to be purchased. She liked hers so much she decided to keep it. And I love mine; it's the perfect size for my apartment.

How does a fan get such a long spin down?

The fan blade has some weight to it so, that would keep things turning a bit longer than a plastic or lightweight blade plus, quality fans will use ball bearings vs. sleeve bearings. The later generate more surface friction which will slow to a stop rather quickly vs. a nice roller ball bearing.
