I have the critters at war version of air land and sea. I wonder if they male a critters version of the new one. I hope they do.

Critters version of the expansion which will be called Flies, Lies & Supplies will be available at Gen Con and then retail in the fall!

Great job! Is there a single player mode?

No Jon, I'm afraid there isn't. A big part of the game is being able to outthink and outmaneuver your opponent, so I guess it would be like trying to devise a single player mode for a game like chess. I suppose you could play a hand of cards randomly for an imaginary opponent, but there would be two immediate problems, and possibly others: (1) one of the decisions that a player must make is whether to 'deploy' a card face up into its matching theater, or to 'improvise' by playing it face down into any theater of the player's choice; (2) a player has the option to withdraw (surrender) a round on any turn. I suppose you roll a dice to somehow simulate these decisions for the imaginary player, but I doubt that it would provide much competition for an experienced opponent. Who knows, in time somebody might develop an AI version that's clever enough would allow a human to play competitively against their computer or phone.
