This is the bees knees, Tony, I can now layer multiple instruments on my single tablet and toggle between them. Cheers bud.

Glad you found it useful. It’s not commonly understood hence why I did a video.

Are there any public TBM panels or instruments?

Tony this is by far your best, most underrated video. I have been trying to figure out how to do pop-ups. My google searches lead to no answers. My KZbin searches on just your channel lead to no answers. I have watched many of your videos trying to figure this out. At last thank you. Please consider changing the title of this video to "Air Manager Panel Scripting (pop-ups)", to aid others in searching. Why other Air Manager users do not use this hidden feature to expand valuable touchscreen real estate escapes me. Maybe a short promo video linking to this video will spread the word. BTW I used "visible" instead of "z" when I have MSFS pop-outs. Could not figure out MSFS pop-outs layer.

Hi Tony, for your next tutorial, can you please consider breaking it up into sections? I was stuck on something and I wanted to quick reference a topic you covered here but it was difficult to find. Great content! Thank you so much for sharing. Very helpful.

Hi Tony. Would you consider a video tutorial on Lua Libraries? After watching this video I was inspired to take a look at Lua libraries in the hope of stream lining my code and making it easier to maintain. I found precious little on the topic other than a short blurb on the Wiki. So I did manage to get it working with excellent results, for example by eliminating a lot of repetitive brute force code I was using. If a good video tutorial exists, my apologies, I did not find it. I found I could pass multiple parameters to the _init functions I called in logic.lua. Very helpful but I still do not know the use of the _visibility function. I can guess but the Wiki has very few words on it. Would be good to learn about this. Using the Lua libraries and calling these functions reminded me of other programming languages where I could create my own user functions, place them in a module and use them in any program I was developing. Can the Lua in Air Manager do this? Finally, I have not figured out the way Air Manager integrates with the Lua program. I remember somewhere in the Sim Innovations forum or maybe an email with Ralph asking how to find out more about lua programming and was advised to look at the Lua website for documentation, which I did but it didn't make the link for me. So I am thinking a video tutorial on the similarities and differences between the full Lua language and Air Managers use of it. I am seeking something to help get to a higher proficiency in writing code. For example take a peak at this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/n37ElKuQhrKDjtU it would be great to know if all of, some of or none of these things work in AM. Thanks so much for your work on these tutorials. Seriously, this is the only resource that produces results for me. Cheers Ted

Hi Tony, I find your tutorials very helpful. Do you plan on showing how to create the backdrop images and add transparent sections?

There is the basics of this in the MSFS pop outs video. The rest of it is just graphical stuff in your favourite graphics editor.

What would stop Air Manager from finding my X-plane 11 sim? The windows10 firewall didn't fix it.

Tony, would you consider updating this tutorial for the current version of Air Manager 4.1?

I think most of this still applies and AM 4.2 is in beta and coming. Are there any specific parts that you feel do not correlate.

@Experimental Sim Avionics Thanks Tony. I have re-watched the tutorial and it is starting to make sense to me. I am trying to overlay instruments rather than swap them as you show in your example and have not figured out how to write the code. Trying to do something like you do with your TBM930 panel where you show and hide the overhead panel on top of the right panel. Thanks again for your help. Best Regards, Charles Collins
