Welcome to the spring 2021 Artist in Residence Program! Local artist, Tory Schmidt will teach you about basic color theory and 3 exciting watercolor techniques.

After creating your unique watercolor masterpiece you can take a walk on the wild side and add Bird Tracks! There are several examples at the end of this video or you can go outside to explore bird tracks of your own. There is also an accompanying handout that will explain the different types and classifications of bird tracks.
Supplies:
Watercolor paints
Watercolor paper
Paint brushes
Water cups
Towel/napkin
Course salt
Sheet protectors
Straw
