He's amazing. Why did they never have backing vocals I wonder. It would make life easier for Russ if they had them now.

Saw a recently interview of Graham. He said they're now working on a new album with about 10 brand new songs already recorded. Possibly a brand new Air Supply studio album coming in 2024. Great news!

Thank you so much for the upload. As an Australian who was not born, or had just been born when AS were gigging in pubs in the 70's, all these years, decades later it fills me with enormous pride as a nationalist proud Australian. In the late 70's and into the 80's in Australia - for context - Melbourne was really the epicentre of 'pub rock'. Sydney yes also but to arguably a lesser extent, Melbourne just had something special, it was truly raw. SO many Australian, and to a lesser extent New Zealand bands like 'Dragon', 'Split Enz/Crowded House' went on to massive US success as the US has always been 'the' market bands deeply tried to break into. But bands like AC/DC, Skyhooks, Rose Tattoo, The Angels, The Divinyls, Midnight Oil, INXS, SO many unbelievable Aussie bands went on to influence generations, young boys/teenagers like myself even though I've always been into metal hard rock the above bands 'were' that genre. Then you have the 'Little River Band' and 'Air Supply'. Disgracefully, and I do not know 'how' - but 'LRB' lost the rights to call themselves 'The Little River Band'. Tragic. That this video popped up on my KZbin blew me away - again, such pride as 'Air Supply' were one of, if not the first Aussie band that smashed the US market wall down - and their catalogue, like the bands above is just timeless. AS were arguably trailblazers for most Australian bands trying to break into the mainstream Billboard US charts. I hope ALL you 'septic tanks' enjoyed the evening, a saying my late loving Father used to call Americans but in a warm way. Australia and America have fought alongside each other in every conflict since the Great War - our bond is deeply embedded in the DNA of Australians. ANZUS is/has been the cornerstone of our security alliance since 1951 - an amazing period of time. If only we too had your brilliant Constitution and it's unprecedented enshrined rights, and if only we too were a Constitutional Republic - apologies I digress. AS are a national icon.
