You can get a compressor that meets the specs of the Booster for around $130 plus another $19 for hose and fittings,so for around $860 you good to go,one thing I like about using the booster,is if the low pressure compressor fails then its a relative small amount to replace,but if your all in one HP compressor fails,its probably a very expensive fix. The booster looks like it as few parts and simple in design,so hope maintenance will be O rings and a few seals to change after a given amount of use. Just waiting on real world reviews and feedback.

These probably use large bore cylinder which takes the low pressure input, and creates a strong force for compressing a smaller cylinder at a higher pressure, so, normally the circuits should be totally separated. But it has a second air intake from outside and should have a filter and desiccant before it. On other models /brands it is possible that the secondary intake is connected to the low pressure compressor for extra speed, but that way you need to make sure no oil gets into the high pressure circuit.

makun16 I just got my air venturi booster for 700.00 and wow!this booster filled my 3000 psi 88 ci...in 2 minutes......i have a 150psi 5.6 cfm husky compressor no more 7 to 10.00 fill ups at the dive shop....if your thinking about this im paying 126.00 a month on installment payments with affirm so it makes it affordable and worth it..... ii love my dragon claw 50 and now ill be doing alot of shooting without wasting time gas and money

Looks great. What percentage of air is exhausted for the booster to operate? Also, how do fill times compare to the similarly priced ShoeBox Max compressor? This may be the product for me. Looking forward to more videos of this booster.

This also allows you to fabricate a brilliant 2 part application to the Bank of Wife. Stage 1 - Hey babe, we need a shop compressor to paint the house, pump up car tyres (or what ever other plausible story you have). Stage 2 - Hey babe, If I buy this booster we can get extra value out of the shop compressor we already have by filling my airgun!

How long will it take to fill a paintball tank?
@davidvazquez78627 жыл бұрын
Hi can I instead of using a compresor use a scuba tank regulated to an output of 90 psi to operate the booster. Thankyou

Yes, should work just fine.

I have a high pressure (150psi) high capacity (13cfm) compressor. Can I use the extra pressure to fill the gun or tank faster?
@tylerpatner65917 жыл бұрын
It will definitely fill it faster, but I can't say that would be a good thing. It may push the unit too hard. Don't have anything to test that with sadly.

What type of tool or equipment you would use this booster for?
@MittyNuke14 жыл бұрын
This video and most of the youtube reviews are using high pressure compressors and boosters for filling air-powered guns and storage tanks to be able to fill air powered guns in the field ("PCP" or "Pre Charged Pneumatic air rifles"). These pressures are also used for SCBA/Scuba breathing tanks, but it's very important to only use compressors/boosters designed for breathing air in those applications; most compressors and boosters, especially the cheaper ones, are not rated for breathing air because oil mist and other contaminants that don't harm air guns will be harmful to your lungs. Other than that, I'm not exactly sure. I know that supercritical CO2 extraction for cannabis and other herbs also use high pressures in this range, but it's probably best to use a system specifically designed for that unless you know what you are doing. Working with equipment running at these pressures is extremely dangerous and if anything goes wrong it could easily kill you

Do you have to use a oil-free air compressor with the Air Venturi Power Booster?
@tylerpatner65917 жыл бұрын
No. An oil lubed compressor works, remember the Booster itself is oil lubed.
@jTempVids7 жыл бұрын
That's good news. I was just asking since some of the other booster pumps require oil-free air compressors.

This plus a compressor with the specs mentioned can take you close to $1000,providing you don't have a compressor at home ... Maybe better to just get the standalone compressor for $1200
@Powerpickle687 жыл бұрын
Jason E I agree, in that scenario a little bit more money the standalone is the best option.
@jamesdenny47347 жыл бұрын
Jason E you can get a good compressor from Harbor Freight for $90 to $150
@tylerpatner65917 жыл бұрын
One of the compressors we use here (and for this video) is a $160 Harbor Freight compressor. It is linked on the product page for the Booster. That's going to be the least expensive workable option that we found.

What is the power source
@pyramydair7 жыл бұрын
No electrical power source needed. You just need a shop compressor.
@XRinger7 жыл бұрын
The power source is the electrical power that drives your garage type air compressor. The energy stored in the compressed air, is used by the Booster, to increase the PSI of the air.. Nothing is for free in this universe.. ;)

Too little, too late. I just ordered a $196.99 4500 psi compressor of EBay.
@p-51mustang516 жыл бұрын
Send me a link because I need one! Does it work good?! I will subscribe to you if you tell me where to get it!
Because a regular shop/garage air compressor usually only goes to 125-150psi max, maybe 200psi for some models. PCP air guns use pressures up to 4500 psi which is way more than a normal compressor can deliver. You can use a high pressure compressor, such as the popular Chinese Yong Heng ~$300 4500psi compressor which is actually cheaper than this booster, but the advantage with this booster is that you can make high pressure air without another compressor if you already have a shop compressor, or that you can use a large compressed gas bottle to run the booster when you are in a remote location without electricity. You can use a large gas bottle to refill your devices directly, but once the large bottle pressure drops under the pressure needed in your gun (which may be 3000 psi or so), it will no longer be useful. With this booster, you can run the large gas bottle all the way down to 60 psi while still producing the needed pressure for your equipment.
