What happens if the buttons once back in place don't spring back up. I'm having an issue with my buttons doing this.

If the spring is put back in place then that' should bounce up and down. Maybe the button is full of junk under the piston that it needs to be taken apart to clean.

Ahh yes, I've had to really put some force or a rubber mallet to break the build up before.
