Thanks for taking the time to explain how all this works. Im learning a lot from your videos and I hope you make many more of these specific and in-depth videos. ❤zeljka

One question which didn't get asked. What would be good pressures for say (Towing caravan on sealed roads). 200kg 250kg 300kg 330kg Ball weights. In your Dash interlock bags. Plus what would be the recommended max usable pressure before turning suspension into a " brick". I do try to keep my ball weight below 300 (280) but sometimes it's higher. When I've shifted things ( plus water) around a bit in the caravan, I use a ball scale to keep an eye on things. I can't always go over a weigh station. Thanks, David.

It’s going to be different for different vehicles. Much will depend on what coil you have around the airbag. I can tell you if you’re running at maximum pressure, you probably have the wrong coil. It’s all about pumping them up to max before dropping on the ball, and then let them down until the car is level again

Thanks for that.

serious question, rather than going for actual air suspension can you cut the springs (to lower it for city driving) and airbag man bags when you want to lift it for off-road ?
@DASHOffRoad3 ай бұрын
Not really, being independent suspension that concept would throw the wheel alignment out

I recently had a 40mm coil lift. No bags as I don’t tow. Would I of needed UCA’s ? Cheers

I’d say probably not, but would need to see the wheel alignment report to say for sure

Rear bar, spare tyre, twin jerry, 150L aux tank and draw set up in the rear 400kg constant coil and interlock airbags installed ( i also dont tow) You mentioned about filling bags before adding weight, what about in this situation where i dont town but loading the draws from half full to full and filling the aux tank what would you say pressure wise would be a good medium ground to have bags filled at constantly to take the weight but not throw eveeything out eg alingments when aux tank is empty mid road trip ect
