and the crazy part about that percentage is how many WASTE 3s he takes, he'll throw it full court and not think twice about it, all these other dudes are afraid to hurt their percentage but he only cares about the chance to help his team... even if it's just 1% chance he'll make that full court TIP like he tried a couple of games ago... that was nuts

I wonder what the percentage would be if he never had a hail marry shot. I think the main reason for this percentage is that he got so pissed of his 3P shooting last year (and last playoffs) and he just fixed that by revealing his inner Curry.

Thats what i love about him though! He doesnt care about stats at all. He knows if it goes in they get 3 points that may be really important in the end and if it doesnt go in he at least tried. So many stars would just pass the ball, cause they don't wann mess up their stats. Thats why i will never listen to people calling him a stat padder. He makes the right play every time.

His fG% would also be higher if he wasn't so aggressive with trying to force in his or his own teammate's misses (see: the sequence in the wizards game). But that's why he's so great. Despite people saying he doesn't care about basketball, he's obviously very competitive deep down and wants to win instead of just put up numbers.

Can’t you see that he is keeping his 3P percentage low on purpose? So opponent teams don’t think he is an elite 3P shooter and let him get open 3s. If the percentage was 60%, they would aggressively defend his 3s.

And...if the refs would call even half the fouls he gets his FT numbers would be what average players get in points per game. Refs need to treat the Joker like LeBron, haha, he'd have 20 pts a night in FTs alone. Additionally, notice Jokic doesn't foul, he never fouls out. Think about that, all the minutes he plays and few fouls.

I'm pissed that he tried like 4 or 5 full court shots at the end of the first half and because of that, maybe he will go under 50% shooting for a short time. If he didn't take those shots he would have right now like 54%, he would lead the league in 3 point %.
