Not sure why CFM and GE are mentioned? The ONLY engine fitted to the A220 is the Pratt GTF, The reason the Q400s and 737 Classics they flew were retired was COVID. They weren't going to drop their latest planes. What you have to remember is that most low cost carriers all have single aircraft type operation.
