Its Crystal clear in my mind. 2010 it was drizzling in Islamabad i was sitting in a car with my grandpaa on front seat and driver was starting his vehicle to take us to market for groceries suddenly my father cameout of a home and told us that Airblue's craft faced an crash. We all were quite sad. After 2 years in March 2012 we family went to Margala hills and Dad took us to a mountain where there was a board placed on it with names of passengers and crew died in crash. I was a volunteer for the SAR operation following the plane crash. The whole event of the plane crash had unfolded right in front of my eyes as i was hiking the margalla hills trails that time . We were one of the few first reponders on the scene because due to the steepness of the slope the rescue department were too afraid to ascend . I took 30 meters of static rope and set up a fixed anchor that allowed them to ascend . The horrors i saw that day cannot be expressed in words .

@@TootiLeaks It was a strange day. I lived in F-8 for 24 years yet I had never seen clouds fall on the mountain like I had that day. Coupled with dense fog it was even hard to find our way up the mountain. I remember seeing the shadow of the airplane followed a loud boom and then flames engulfed the mountain face. It was a surreal experience.

That's why I rely on and prefer foreign airlines. Though I am not a regular traveller but I have travelled to Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan. Both by Saudi Arabia Airline and Air Dubai. Pakistan Airlines are the worst specially the PIA.
