In the hinterland of the Normandy coast, the first soldiers landed with parachutes and cargo gliders on the night of June 6, 1944. The liberation of Europe had now begun.
The Áirborne Museum is entirely dedicated to these parachutists and cargo gliders. The troops of the American 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions are presented in four halls.
With great effort, multimedia and interactivity, the museum is an important place of learning about the events of the first hour of the liberation.
Information about the museum can be found here:

This contribution was produced with great effort in the field, shortly before the 80th anniversary, on location in Normandy.
A small Dacia Sanders served as a studio.
The 0€ souvenir bill in the intro shows that the film contribution is free of charge for you.
Nevertheless, I am very grateful for any support.
A thumbs up (10 seconds of work) also helps me to promote the channel. A positive entry in the comment column is even more personal.
