There are several times in the video where the camera is held nice and straight pointing out the side window showing the earth as straight horizon line. Time point 8:10 onward for quite a few seconds. Keep in mind the glass is curved, so if you hold the camera at most points, it will make the earth look like a globe. Pretty amazing. A question came to mind about how can those fuel burning engines run at that altitude without oxygen also? This is more than twice the height of Mt. Everest and we all know the oxygen is so low at 29,000 feet they need tanks to climb. A search I did said they figured out a way to get enough thin air compressed in these engines to keep them running. I drove 100,000 miles in the last 2 years and the earth sure seems like it's not round and just topographical. My son flew to Hawaii and said he was looking out the side window for hours in awe of how flat the ocean was the entire trip. Twighlight zone music plays.

Flat and level is an aviation term. If it were a globe you would be dipping a mile for every 100 traveled. You would think that would be enough to wake globers up. Zinga Zanga - Question - If the distance (d) to the horizon gets farther due to the rise in the observers elevation (h), what shape would the observer be on? A flat plane, or a curved surface? - Hypothesize - In reality, as we observe, an observer with eye level of 6 feet will observe the horizon at a distance of about 2.99 miles, and that distance will increase with elevation. - On a flat plane, it shows that that there should be no rate of change in the distance to the horizon due to elevation. - On a shape with a curved surface, we can use the formula for a circle to represent the observer's straight line of sight in all directions that does expand the distance (d) to the horizon due to the observers elevation (h) of: (r + h)² = r² + d² - Picking a random number, to test this shape, for the radius (r) we will use: r = 3,958.8 miles - Experiment - Using the formula: (r + h)² = r² + d² to find the distance (d) to the horizon from the observer's elevation (h) of a circle with the radius (r) Using: (h) as the independent variable that is manipulated. (d) as the dependent variable dependent on (h). (r) as the controlled that remains constant. With: r = 3,958.8 miles h = 6 feet = 0.00113636 miles Then: (r + h)² = (3,958.8 + 0.00113636)² = 3958.80113636² 3958.80113636² = 3958.8² + d² d² = 3958.80113636² - 3,958.8² d² = 8.9972452273140496 √d² = √8.9972452273140496 d = 2.99954083608 miles - Observe and Record - Now that our base experiment has matched our reality to what we observe, we can test what happens with an increase of elevation (h). - We see that a rise in the elevation (h) of the observer increases the distance (d) to the horizon matching our observations of reality. - Analyze - Based on the testing of our observable reality, we see that our observations do not match what we would see as an observer on a flat plane. The data collected from testing shows that the formula: (r + h)² = r² + d² for a circle matches our observations in every direction leading to the conclusion that the Earth's surface is curved and matches that resembling a spherical object. - Conclusion - Earth is a spherical object, and can not be a flat plane.

Zinga Zanga it actually doesn’t, and that’s not high enough to see obvious curvature... but read below please. - Question - If the distance (d) to the horizon gets farther due to the rise in the observers elevation (h), what shape would the observer be on?

Synix. If it’s not high enough to see the curve why do people claim they see a curve of the earth on a commercial airplane that flys way below 70,000ft. And you say you see the earth curve at the beach by looking at the boat go over the horizon. But 70,000ft isn’t high enough to se the curve. Man get out of here you brainwashed sheep

Bad argument... but the camera is yet again a wide angle lens, you can see it is flat when the horizon line is in the middle of the shot. Almost all use a wide angle lens when all they need do is use a lens that doesn't curve straight lines, footage from those cameras, like the one inside the Red Bull "Space" Jump cockpit, shows a straight horizon at high altitudes - if they did this always then if the earth is globular then we would see that but all we get is footage from Go Pro type cameras and people are just ignoring the straight line every time the horizon is centred in shot.
