I've always been a boeing fan, but it makes me happy KLM took the 320/321 and the A350. Simply these are just the best aircraft out there in the class they operate!

KLM is my favourite company, remember my last flight when I was under 10 years old, back in the early 70's , my parents and I went on the KLM 747 the Queen of the sky. It was awesome

At the very least, KLM will enjoy a greater peace of mind just because the airliner has come from Airbus rather than Boeing. When you consider all the negative publicity the US airliner manufacturer has received in recent decades - very much self-inflicted, I may add. I don't really wish to sound smug or pretend as if Airbus has no problems But those currently occupying the Boeing boardroom have a lot of difficult questions to answer. However that's a story for another day. Let's just celebrate KLM's first a321neo.👏👍🤝

Good to see that KLM is, beside the Embraer E-Jet family and the few A330's, finally getting off the Boeing train with all the still ongoing drama! How an airline could still trust that company after the merge with McDonnell Douglas and the focus shift to profit over safety is beyond me! Why Boeing if an excellent, reliable and safety first aircraft manufacturer is based around the corner here in Europe?

Even though I love older Boeing Aircraft more than anything, I think anyone with common sense can agree with me saying KLM made the right decision. A modern, efficient, and *safe* aircraft is what KLM has always believed in, even when going back to Boeing times. Now that Boeing has been declining for a decade now (crazy to say since I’ve been on the internet when Airbus and Boeing people didn’t trash on each other), Airbus is the way to go since they are going forward. This is coming from a person that has always said classic aircraft are better considering nearly every international airline had a 747 and even supersonic aircraft were still available to people who weren’t in the government. With that out of the way, considering my once favorite manufacturer is crumbling and will probably not recover for a long time or even ever, Airbus’ priorities are why it’s good for KLM to make the switch to Airbus. I will *always* look fondly on the past, but it’s time to move forward, not backwards. Congratulations KLM on your new A321NEO! I cannot wait to see the A350 delivered! I know the new aircraft will look stunning in that magnificent blue!
