At 2:00 you can see the downtown / Wall St area of lower Manhatttan (New York) in the center, the Hudson River, and the downtown Newark, New Jersey area on the far shore of the river (left). At 2:26 the camera zooms in on runway 06 at Teterboro Airport (NJ). At 4:00 the Meadowlands Sports Complex (East Rutherford, NJ)

Great video! Traveling with you guys on April 3rd to Zurich... my first time to Europe... then to Lauterbrunnen and Piz Gloria where they filmed the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

What are those ratcheting sounds? Is it those wheels between them that turn for flaps?

I thougth you fly approximately five to six hours from Europe to the US east coast, not eight hours. But great Video, I realy love your cockpit / approach Videos!! :-)
@Lampa15CA10 жыл бұрын
Well Zurich is pretty deep into Europe land!
@AMERICANPSYCHO7310 жыл бұрын
Because the polar jet stream can have winds traveling over 100+mph, going west (US) to east (Europe) is always a little faster than than return trip (as the trip in this video). Depending on which direction you're going, these headwinds or tailwinds can easily make an hour difference. Plus, considering distance alone, flights to/from Zurich are about an hour longer than flights to/from London (as BL Planespotting noted).

I wish I could be a pilot. I can't because I have a stutter and I wouldn't be able to communicate fast enough.
@dnhug5 жыл бұрын
How bad of a stutter..? I’d give it a try. The “No” is guaranteed. Best regards
@VWGTI20135 жыл бұрын
@@dnhug I have more like a pause than a stutter. It's too late now, I just turned 49. My stutter is what has held me back in life but that's ok, I just wanna live the rest of my life in peace now.
