Airbus Albo in a ‘better mood’ when he’s outside of Australia: Paul Murray

Sky News host Paul Murray says support for the Albanese government has dropped because the party is “breaking its own promises that it made”.
“One thing that is absolutely clear is that the prime minister, while not quite circling the drain, is certainly starting to run out of water in the bath,” Mr Murray said.
“The polls yet again tell us that more than half the country do not approve of the prime minister’s leadership.
“More than half of the country think that things have got financially worse under Labor and many of those because of Labor.
“Airbus Albo has stuck - it’s stuck because people know that he is in a far better mood, far more enthusiastic when he’s out of the country than when he’s in the country.”

Every promise made by Albanese has been broken by Airbus Albanese. Airbus Albanese claimed he would no do what Morrison did and be out of Australia when there is a crisis, but he has flown out of the country every time that a crisis comes up. Labor has no integrity or accountability. Maybe we the people should be given the right to call for a no confidence vote inn the government when the government has had a certain number of failures in their program. Of course, that will never happen. Clare O'Neil needs to be censured out of office with no benefits or pensions. Labor getting things done....Gee I would like to see that.

Just challenging you/ adding context on a couple of things. Firstly out of the 66 pre-election promises made by Albanese he has only broken 2 of them and stalled on 5 of them. You can check this by searching 'RMIT ABC promise checker'. There is also the fact that the cost-of-living crisis is a result on international events and any Australian government, labour or liberal, are limited in their ability to respond. In terms of the Airbus claim, if you search 'RMIT Airbus Albo fact check' you will see that Morrison clocked in more international trips than Albanese than during the first 14 months. Furthermore, Albo's travel frequency is inline with most previous prime ministers.

Labor’s vote went down, in polling, that’s one of the (few) contextually true statements in the video. First preference went down 4% for Labor. The Coalition got 1% of that, the Greens got another 1%. What’s likely to happen is a minority government, with one of the 2 “main” parties having to get either the Green or the Teal support to form government.
