@Joe22c I played drums on this, so can answer your questions! Geoff gave us (Airbus - rock band based in Bristol, UK) a cassette with a click track and Beth's vocal on it & asked us to write some music for it. He refused to play us the original before we recorded it, so that's why it came out SO different from the original!! We recorded all the music to a click track so it married up with the vocal. Beth laid down extra vocals on the end section after we'd recorded the music.

I got the 'Glory Times' compilation CD on Canadian import from Virgin Megastores, Oxford Street when i went to London in 1999. This is definitly the highlight of the set: guitars that rock and drums that roll.... damn it, i miss the 90s...

Fantastic song! What's with the title though? Is airbus an artist that remixed Sour Times? Also, did Beth provide additional altered vocals (ex. at 4:15-4:24) or was that digitally modified? I love the way she sings, "nobody loves me" at 4:27 and "not like you" at 4:40

Beth came into State of Art studios and added those extra vocals on top of the version that we had played to click track and her original vocal. We kept on playing as she wailed. Cool huh!
