The funniest part IMO was the captain saying" smooth as a baby butt," it seems like such an American saying and sounded very funny and cool coming from him. A relaxed cockpit atmosphere , nice and fair captain setting the tone. Awesome vid.

Very wise to hand fly -- 777 crash in SFO was due to pilots having virtually no hand flying, especially landings. Glide slope out of order and they came in and smacked the tail on the sea wall. Automation isn't yet substitute for a human, and the human should always be honing their skills.

Airlines should model their commanders/Captains on Captain. I have watched the whole series solely because of his leadership qualities and skills. He is evidently in charge, he is the leader, he considers every single point from each of his colleagues calmly and professionally and even when he disagrees, does not brush off...he sets to outline why and the correct path of action. Extremely likeable, professional and true commander. Lucky guys who fly under his command and instruction.

Very professional crew and CRM. Tremendous attitude from every crew member and willingness to let senior first officer expand his experience by longer hands on manual flight and letting him turn off flight director for added experience, kudos captain and crew. Excellent initiative by senior first officer as well. Multi-national crew that worked very well together to always be on the same page. Great video!

Captain Rikard is an outstanding captain.....The First Officer mentioned he never gets to fly first leg and it shows in his briefing, a little bit disjointed however captain did excellent job cueing him and not berating him for what he did miss or was unsure of. Captain Rikard sets a great tone in his cockpit, it would be awesome to be part of his crew.

This is a textbook example of all lessons learned in aviation -- very thorough communication, read back, complete crew of same mind, pausing on taxi to ensure clear maneuvering with other aircraft via listening to radio traffic. Very professional crew, joking where appropriate keeping a cool calm cockpit. A+ crew, A+ film. Great job to all involved.

Enjoyed the entire flight. Lufthansa crew was the best! Really enjoyed their professionalism and sense of humor. No stuffed shirts in the cockpit! It has to very tiring and somewhat boring to fly international flights and always remain alert! The Captain & Sr. F/O were most entertaining & informative. Hope they enjoyed their sushi!
