So glad I found this tutorial on drawing Airplanes! I was planning on doing a drawing/pastel painting of similar type of WWll airplane for my grandson as a birthday present, but was having a problem with accurate perspective. Troll God Try sketching the section profiles of the aircraft to establish the form and then use these profile lines to highlight the form and roundness of the fuselage. See my other video tutorial of advanced perspective sketching

Isn't the minor axis of the ellipse (circle in perspective) supposed to align with the opposite vanishing point? And of course then the other axis is going to be perpendicular on the minor.
