hey cool whip live the vid but I have a question i see that you play on virtual desktop with a quest 3 and i have a quest 3 and virtual desktop but when i play on it the graphics on terrible and very choppy and pixely i have turned my ghost of tabor graphics up and watched virtual desktop settings videos and they dont fix it. do you have any tips with this?

Hey, thank you, glad you enjoyed the video! 🙂 This sounds more like an issue with VD instead of Tabor. Have you tried other games and have the same issue? I think I had the same issue as you originally (with tabor and other games like Into the Radius it was especially noticeable) and it was because of my router. That's why I bought the PrismXR Puppis S1 which made everything look a lot better. Recently I upgraded my main router to the TP-Link AXE5400, which also works well. Both of these routers allow me to get a 500+ bit rate (5ghz 2401mbps) setup. (I use h.264+ codec in VD but have also tried AV1 10-bit which was just a little worse in my experience) When you launch steamvr the widget that shows up (click both joysticks in if its not showing initially) will have a bunch of stats and you want to focus on anything that is yellow, which indicates a problem area. Also you want to have your computer connected to the router directly through ethernet for the best experience. Happy to help debug this more with you also, I spent a lot of time getting my setup finalized so I like helping others achieve the same experience 🙂

@@Cobes22 Sure thing, hopefully that fixes your issue, and if you need more help just reach out! And in case I wasn't clear, you should only need to buy one of those routers to improve your setup. I would recommend the Puppis S1 since its cheaper and a more direct solution (it plugs directly into your PC) If this is helpful, this is my setup: - Computer w/ethernet connection to my main router - Puppis S1 plugged into my computer - My playspace is about 5ft away from my computer, with direct vision to the puppis s1 router

when you were talking about not using an angled grip because of your gunstock and that you prefer the fortis shift grip, youre actually using the halo mini on the gun which is the third worst grip in the game, you should exchange it for the fortis shift or the green one you found that raid, anyways great vid!

With the 10 money clips quest, you put it in a bag and put it somewhere in the old bunker on matka underground, and it gives you a alpha. ive been running around crazy looking for the money clips lol.

Yeah that quest got me to actually start using my storage 😂 I actually really enjoy the looting/collection quests, it's fun when I find a money clip now or some other item I need.

I feel like they boosted the chance of keycards spawning, I've run i think 10 purples so far and i still have 3 purples in my bunker. I dont know why i have even found this many keycards but i have also gotten i think 5 airdrops so far

Find someone to play with, don't be afraid to use loot, and big risks come with big rewards. If you are confident in your shooting ability then go for a fight, you might be able to get good loot.

Hey welcome to Tabor! 👋That is everyone's experience so don't get discouraged! It took me a very long time until I was consistently getting kills and surviving raids. Some general tips: -Go slow, and keep your head on a swivel, always be scanning the horizon so you spot players before they see you -Stick to the outside of the maps, which are often safer and less traveled (especially on Island), only go into the middle of the maps when things have quieted down -Avoid making noise that draws players in (shooting scavs being the most common one), and when you do make noise wait a bit in a safe spot before moving to see if someone comes looking for you -Memorize player spawns, this lets you predict where people are going to be at the start and will really help you survive (either by killing them early or avoiding where they are) -When you must PvP, give yourself every advantage, try to engage when they are in the open and you have cover. If they outnumber you or out gear you, maybe let them pass so you can survive the raid -Use the PvE mode to practice your gameplay and aim -Know when to cut your win and get out. If you find great loot like a GPU or car battery just stop looting other things and hide somewhere until spawns open and the raid quiets down so you can escape with these high tier items Hopefully something there is helpful, good luck out there!

I play on the East Coast servers, which is a busy one, but I typically see about 2-5 players in a raid and rarely wait for a match for more than a minute. If you just started, there is also a new player queue for people below level 5, which often results in empty raids until you are out of that level range. Also here is a cool site to track tabor stats, I mainly use it to see how many players are actively on www.taborstats.com/ 🙌

@Alex-hu8jl Haha yeah, I use to play on standalone as well, but PCVR is definitely the way to go if you can manage it. In case you are looking to switch over to PCVR and did not know this, if you have the meta version of Tabor you have access to both the standalone and PCVR version automatically.

Haha yeah there is no button to crouch if you play standing unfortunately. If you set it to "sitting" though I think you click in one of the joysticks to crouch. A lot of people play standing but calibrate it to sitting so they can easily crouch with a button.
