Thank you for watching and your comment. Yes the 25 per is a Crescent, I’ve had that for a long time. The Dinky Scorpion was purchased recently and the Striker was a Dinky kit I couldn’t resist not building it! I enjoyed setting it all up glad you liked it

Those were one of the very last figure sets issued by the 'original' Airfix company. They weren't easy to find even at the time they came out. Does the box art depict them on the roof of the embassy, waiting to storm it? If so, that's a very nice touch. Their action in 1980, was one of those things you saw on the news, and never, ever forgot. Simply astonishing. A definite "We're not messing about with these people anymore. Everyone's had enough." moment in history.

I was lucky and found my set in my local model shop. I’m sure you are right the box does show them on a rooftop in London I’m sure. I didn’t have a city scene so I thought an ‘exercise’ on Salisbury plain would show them nicely. There are a few videos on KZbin of course showing the news from the time. I had to refresh my memory of the time. Thank you for watching and sharing your memories

Thank you, it’s always good fun to set up these scenes. It’s my airfield in disguise! The figures were very different to paint and enjoyable. Thank you for your comment

Great display Graham, just a question were did you get the sandbags and tree trunks display pieces?

Thank you. The bases are from Amera mouldings. They are for the Airfix 1/32 buildings like the jungle outpost. They have a good website which I bought them from. Thanks for watching and your comment
