THe Airfix kit has 2 main issues - 1st up the propeller is a bit anemic, but that is not really too noticeable unless you place it next to a 109E with a good propeller. But for some reason Airfix never checked the Canopy hood with other known preserved 109E's, just the one in the RAF Museum. That particular airframe was incorrectly restored using a 109G type Canopy Hood (the moving bit!) The G hood had a prominent metal bar separating the two fixed side panels of the glasswork. The E and F canopies had no separator, the forwards panel was moveable by sliding it behind the rear panel, for ventilation. THis is a very prominent feature and how Airfix missed that I do not know. (Your masking off the two panels in the video kind of screams this issue out loud!) It's a pity you cannot post images in the comments on U-tube as I have a number of images of both E and F and G canopy hoods that illustrate this.

Yes I know, I beleive a G version from memory? I liked the scheme and wanted to give it a go as Airfix's choices on this E were a little un-inspiring at the time
