A tricky build of another Airfix classic. 52 years old and still looking good.

Great stuff again like your none fuss approach and bringing back childhood memories of building these models , keep it mate great work

Thanks Mike, believe me there's a lot of fuss and worse behind the scenes. Also I had no idea how many memories come back in waves doing this.

Thanks mate, I'm definitely happy with the finish it was a bit of a struggle.

I'll second that. It looks super realistic.

It always makes me happy when the video uploaded!! Airfix kit is getting easier access in my country japan compare with past. This kit is mandatory for me.

Well that's good news. It's always a shame when stuff is hard to get. Different places clearly have different tastes... America has a lot of monsters and sci-fi which are very rare here. Meanwhile Russia and/or Ukraine seem to be pumping out some great WW1 +2 stuff.

Looks like you are all over the house ;-) That`s a nice diorama 👍

Anywhere there's a work surface! Thanks for the compliment, the diorama is a frail thing thrown together, but it looks alright on screen. Cheers.

Pretty good diorama, by the way, the 'rubbed out' lettering on the underside stated 'MADE IN ENGLAND'.

Glad you like the Diorama... It's not a permanent job, just some bits put together. As for the scrubbed out section, well, I really should have guessed that. Thanks for getting me there.

Off topic, but I still think that you should consider getting some work reading for audio books as you have a great voice for it.
@modelmeltdown3595 жыл бұрын
Well nobody ever said that before. What kind of books would suit my voice? Dodgy crime on the edge of London? Did I mention I'm not born and bread on the borders?

I always enjoy watching your video mate I’m in process of watching a your video 😊 awesome also awesome diorama 👌🏻🤙🏻 and I find doing diorama every addictive 😂 could u please build a airfix 1/72 lancaster hallo from Australia 🇦🇺

Hello Riley and hello Australia. Isn't it amazing that a twit on the Scottish borders can be seen on the other side of the world. I'm always glad to hear people enjoy these little films, Yes I've found doing dioramas very absorbing. As for the Lancaster... I'm putting that off! Can you imagine the uproar if I make a mess of it?! The Wellington was bad enough.All the same i'm going to have to make one some day. Probably sooner rather than later.

@@modelmeltdown359 Regarding the Lancaster, I recently made the Airfix Lancaster mkB.III and despite being a larger aircraft it fits together very nicely and has a fairly simple paintjob. I cannot wait for the eventual video of you building it! I'm sure you won't mess it up too much
@modelmeltdown3595 жыл бұрын
@@randaspread I think I would trust Airfix the most to make the build process as smooth as possible, so who knows?

Probably the made in England has been rubbed out as the Airfix range no longer gets manufactured in the UK
