Thank you Matt, I'm rather glad it turned out the way it did. Airfix really needs to make a new tooled kit of the Fairey Firefly. Or at least give this kit a vintage classics re-issue.

In today's world of over-engineered kits, it's nice to see when a basic model turns out so well as this one. BTW, I am definitely going to use your cable tie idea for future rescribing!
