The Wessex is a very good choice, and if it maintains the very high quality from the Chinook, then we have another Top level kit from Airfix. I am ready😀 Thanks for bringing this video so soon Chris👍

I just realised they have skipped the Wessex in the new tools summary at the end of the broadcast and so did i. It has great details looks very good! Thanks for the feedback 💯

Have to say it’s one of the best launches for me matey. I’ve been banging on about space being overlooked for a very long time and we have Artemis now incoming The helicopter range is now well established with Chinook, Seaking and now Wessex and the Lynx its looking good. The stalwart is a great release seeing that chassis can be used for another 3 different vehicles like a saladin.. And the Jaggggggggg... and lookin at it, it was worth the wait!!!

I also think the Airfix 2025 range is good news! Very well balanced and actually more than one surprise, considering your opinion about the space genre. Anyway, if you say its one of the best launches, it must be one of the best Airfix launches💯 Thanks for the feedback Mos!

The 1/76 Landrover defender will be a perfect replacement Landy that comes with the bloodhound as that 1 does NOT have clear parts ...doesnt even have a steering wheel😊
@RustyscaleShow13 күн бұрын
How you supposed to drive this thing without a steering wheel!

There are a number of things here that I like, the 1/72 scale Westland Wessex (Hoping for a rebox with Belgian decals of that one already) and the vintage Vosper MTB and German E-Boat. Yes, I am a boat builder. Now, on the subject of reboxings, just relaese some new decals without the kit? What good would those be for us modelers, when we can't get the previous release of the kit anymore. And, don't you think that there are enough aftermarket decal options out there already? Althoug, these mostly focus on the most popular models, subjects and scale's as wel. I dont know man, I'm ok with reboxings with new decals. It's the strait reboxings with previously released scemes i don't get.

That Jaguar looks tempting. I was hoping for an English Electric Lightning in I/48. Maybe next time. Good year if you’re into helicopters.

Lightning in 1/48 sounds good too! Maybe for the next launch🍀

The 48th spit is interesting if only because of the slide molded nose and it's going to be riveted, that's not something airfix has done before.

Ah, i didnt get that, its nice to see they go more into details and always come up with something new. Thanks for the feedback!

What was your favourite Airfix 2025 range Chris ?
@RustyscaleShow13 күн бұрын
I predict a Jaguar in desert camo sitting in my shelve in the near future😄

It wouldn’t be an Airfix launch without more Spitfires becuse they know it’s there number one saling point I am excited about the new tools I am always am but man that Victor tablet is close to £80 😡 I don’t know how much that is in euro’s sorry Chris. I love the Jaguar Sepecat and the glass nosed Liberator.

I guess you could be right about the lower quantity, they had 2 big projects last year. But i like the new tools they revealed, a good balance in it Thanks for the feedback!

The word corps as in Army Air Corps and Irish Air Corps is pronounced "cor" and NOT "Corpse" as dale pronounced it...the "p" and "s" are silent

Oh yes, biiig difference 😅 Thanks for the feedbacks!

@RustyscaleShow i know its a small thing but it gets my goat when people who should know better get it wrong.....another example is the U.S.M.C.....(United States Marine Corps)....when was the last time you heard of the Marine "Corpse"

I rarely buy Airfix these days as there is so much choice out there and they don't cover the subjects I am generally interested in. Also, these are no longer pocket money kits and one has to be very selective, at least I do. I do like the look of the Jaguar and it will probably tempt me. I have just built the new Buccaneer in 1/48 and I have to say was disappointed by the general poor fit. But I am sure there is enough in the new range to keep the loyal Airfix customer base happy.
@RustyscaleShow13 күн бұрын
Yes with all the great kits coming out, you have to be very selective! Its a real challenge
