Thanks for the warning. I'm glad you didn't try using it after seeing it stick out of the chamber. That probably would have had some disastrous effects on your weapon. I must say that I do admire your patience and persistence with your target shooting. You do a great job. Your love for your work is evident, for sure.

Ive had cheap pellets stick.So,I bought a long brass rod from a DIY type store.Brass wont damage the barrel when you try n pop the pellet out,running it down the barrel to the nose of the pellet.

I used those Gamo BB nosed critters,22 cal and loved them. HEY...heres an idea bud... One day,do a video for us rookies on how to line a newly mounted scope in its true vertical position within the mount rings . The only way I could do it.(and,it was with the cheapie Crossman scope that cost about $17.oo new) was to shoot high elevation,then drop way low.That let me know which way to rotate the scope within the rings.In the process,Id waste probably 30 shots.

Most pellets will destabilize at a thousand fps past 50 yards. Most of the 100 yd bench competition shooters try to keep around to 920 FPS. I've noticed at 50 yards and they can be pretty accurate no matter what speed but start doing weird things at further distances if they're going to fast. I know you're only shooting at like 22 yards or so right now though. But maybe if you change the FPS some of the pellets that didn't Group well Will Group much better. Sometimes a gun just doesn't like certain pellets though. Cool vid thanks for sharing.

Thank you! Noted, I am usually running sub 1000fps for all my other PCPs, I will keep my chrono handy for sure. Im going to be more critical in the next round, go through various velocities and see if we improve or spread.

Thanks Hank! I ended up going to my nemesis to buy the Condor and pellets. They had the Condor for 200 less than anywhere else. Pyramyd Air should still have everything.

It would perform way better with slugs especially for hunting im shooting 85 grain .257 slugs in my .25 condor and i have heavily power modded it

I wanted to put slugs through this but Airforce advised against it. My plan was to find the best pellet and see how well it can perform. It probably can still use slugs, but I had so much fouling in one of my other PCPs that I went into this only expecting to use pellets. I initially wanted a pure slug 177 PCP, but I couldn't find anything cheap that didn't have a choke.

Im on my 3rd air compressor from them, probably about to be onto my 4th soon. This is the 3rd time Ive had issues with their ammo. They are good at making quick returns.

@toxicmatrix1337 well I guess you could blame air Venturi for a Chinese Yong Heng rebadged compressor but if you look at the products that Air Venturi makes for itself they're pretty dang good.

@@gumbystown You should watch my compressor video I did on them and what they told me to cover their a$$. It is comical that it really is just a rebadge. They could make the best products in the world, they dont deserve your money though, they have no principles. Im not even sure if they make anything, I think its all just modded or private label product. Almost all of it is chinese too, with crazy mark ups. I used to shop at Pyramyd Air for over 20 years, feels dirty even thinking of that place now. They contradict themselves when asking for advice on a product. They will give you 5 different answers to the same question. I'll double check, ask the same thing with the manufacturer, completely different answers. Airforce was my first instance of that. My 2nd gun and the listing had wrong information on it. They told me I can run pellets in my Texan. Im not 100% sure but I think Gateway to Airguns is run by Air Venturi or sponsored. They have videos running a Texan 308 with 30 cal pellets. Airforce told me that pellets simulate dry fire, not enough weight, about 1/3rd of what its supposed to be. If I damage it that way, not covered by warranty and they get repairs for it commonly. Pyramyd Air lists it as a 30 cal not a 308, pellets were even listed as a recommended item for the Texan.

Another boring paper shooter . . . There's nothing it's siding about watching somebody shoot paper . . Good group or bad . . . It's still just as boring . . Bobby's high-dollar guns and all these pellets and wasted shooting paper . . If you want to know if a pellet is good or if your gun is accurate try shooting an egg or an apple at 60 yards . . Got to let you know how good your gun is shooting and how accurate it is shooting . . . It be more interesting than shooting paper . . . 🖕🖕🖕

hitting an egg or an apple at 60 yards doesnt prove anything though. This was a test for consistency, if you miss the egg, where did the round go? If it ends up hitting the egg, where did it impact? Those come after the tests, but you need to eliminate garbage ammo first, zero point in running something that "may" hit.
