A snowflake consists of roughly 1019 water molecules which are added to its core at different rates and in different patterns depending on the changing temperature and humidity within the atmosphere that the snowflake falls through on its way to the ground. As a result, snowflakes differ from each other though they follow similar patterns. Snow crystals form when tiny supercooled cloud droplets (about 10 μm in diameter) freeze. These droplets are able to remain liquid at temperatures lower than −18 °C (0 °F), because to freeze, a few molecules in the droplet need to get together by chance to form an arrangement similar to that in an ice lattice. The droplet freezes around this "nucleus". In warmer clouds, an aerosol particle or "ice nucleus" must be present in (or in contact with) the droplet to act as a nucleus. Ice nuclei are very rare compared to cloud condensation nuclei on which liquid droplets form. Clays, desert dust, and biological particles can be nuclei. Artificial nuclei include particles of silver iodide and dry ice, and these are used to stimulate precipitation in cloud seeding. Once a droplet has frozen, it grows in the supersaturated environment-one where air is saturated with respect to ice when the temperature is below the freezing point. The droplet then grows by diffusion of water molecules in the air (vapor) onto the ice crystal surface where they are collected. Because water droplets are so much more numerous than the ice crystals, the crystals are able to grow to hundreds of micrometers or millimeters in size at the expense of the water droplets by the Wegener-Bergeron-Findeisen process. These large crystals are an efficient source of precipitation, since they fall through the atmosphere due to their mass, and may collide and stick together in clusters, or aggregates. These aggregates are snowflakes, and are usually the type of ice particle that falls to the ground. Although the ice is clear, scattering of light by the crystal facets and hollows/imperfections mean that the crystals often appear white in color due to diffuse reflection of the whole. MERRY CHRISTMAS SNOWFLAKES!

Air rights are the property interest in the "space" above the earth's surface. Generally speaking, owning, or renting, land or a building includes the right to use and develop the space above the land without interference by others. This legal concept is encoded in the Latin phrase Cuius est solum, eius est usque ad coelum et ad inferos ("Whoever owns the soil, it is theirs up to Heaven and down to Hell."), which appears in medieval Roman law and is credited to 13th-century glossator Accursius; it was notably popularized in common law in Commentaries on the Laws of England (1766) by William Blackstone; see origins of phrase for details. Property rights defined by points on the ground once extended indefinitely upward. This notion remained unchallenged before air travel became popular in the early 20th century. To promote air transport, legislators established a public easement for transit at high altitudes, regardless of real estate ownership.[1] New technologies have again raised questions about ownership of "space" and the upward bounds of national sovereignty. With the advent of space travel above earth's atmosphere, the height at which national sovereignty extends and therefore nations can regulate transit is often debated.

Unlike conventional cigarettes, these battery-powered versions create vapor as a byproduct, not smoke. Despite this, they can still set off a fire alarm if you blow vapor directly into it. All smoke alarms are sensitive to small, airborne particles.

Huh. I think I learned something new here today.
@dumpygrimbo8623
@dumpygrimbo8623 2 жыл бұрын
@@speedstick8981 Yep, many use a small sample of Americium-241, a radioactive isotope, which decays and emits alpha particles: particles made of 2 protons and 2 neutrons. This ionizes the air around the sample which lets a current run between two electrodes. Alpha particles are very poor at penetrating, so smoke particles cause the current to be interrupted, setting off the alarm.

For the Vape clip. There are 2 main types of fire detectors. 1. Photoelectric (what the guy had): it uses a beam of light to detect smoke. The beam is obstructed by the smoke and sets off the alarm. 2. Ionization: Ionization uses metal plates and an electric current and radioactive chemical. If smoke enters the chamber the radioactive chemical isn't enough for the current to go through air anymore, setting off the alarm. Vape smoke isn't the right chemical composition to set of an ionization detector, but it's thick enough to disrupt the light in a photoelectric detector.

Lolol. I never thought I'd enjoy watching people play Flight Simulator, but I have watched about 10 of your videos now and I have yet to be bored.

The high speed hot air balloons and the commentaries is what got me watching this channel!

I haven't been able to play a flight sim until MS Flight Sim on Series X/S and I'm really enjoying it. The only reason I have any clue what I'm doing is thanks to this man. Still have a lot to learn but at least I'm having fun. Love the videos. Keep doin what you do

I’m so happy I came across your channel, youtube has horrible algorithm so I honestly have no clue how I managed to find it but you’re freaking hilarious 😂 Love the videos!!!! Also had to rewind 5:01 when I heard “Caution Airbus Controller, Im a Giraffe” I was so confused XD i instantly thought he was apologizing for flying horribly like “i’m a giraffe” is some kinda air lingo and then realized he referring to the pilots callsign
