My grandpa flew over 100 different types of aircraft's while in the Navy. I've got a recording from two missions my grandpa was on in October 11th during the Vietnam war. It's of him, a few people from his squadron and a few people from another squadron, all flying the A6-A Intruder. You can hear them talking about SAMS as the alarms going off then you can hear my grandpa talking about slowing down to make sure everyone could catch up. After my grandpa's funeral Jim Horsley played the recording and he said my grandpa was always more worried about the lives and well being of his men than the mission and would stop at nothing to make sure they were safe and taken care of. My grandpa was the XO of the VA-115 when Alan Clark and Mick McCormick went missing and after my grandpa left the Navy he still made sure people were taken care of, he mentored the son of Alan Clark when he wanted to join the Air force

Duck, Duck, Goose (also called Duck, Duck, Gray Duck or Daisy in the Dell) is a traditional children's game often first learned in preschool or kindergarten. The game may be later adapted on the playground for early elementary students. The object of this game is to walk in a circle, tapping on each player's head until one is finally chosen; the chosen player must then chase the picker to avoid becoming the next picker. Contents 1 Basic concept 2 Variations 2.1 Kiss in the Ring or Drop Handkerchief 2.2 Daisy in the Dell 2.3 Duck, Duck, Gray Duck 2.4 Drip, Drip, Drop 2.5 Vrot Eier 2.6 Rumaal Chor 2.7 Majhya Aaicha Patra Harawala 3 See also 4 References 5 External links Basic concept A group of players sit in a circle, facing inward, while another player, who is "it", walks around tapping or pointing to each player in turn, calling each a "duck" until finally calling one a "goose". The "goose" then rises and tries to tag the "it", while the "it" tries to return to and sit where the "goose" had been sitting before. If "it" succeeds, the "goose" becomes the "it" and the process begins again. If the "goose" tags the "it", the "goose" may return to their previous spot and the original "it" restarts the process.[1] Variations Kiss in the Ring or Drop Handkerchief In this version of the game, as described by the British folklorist Alice Gomme in 1894, the picker touches the shoulder of each person in the ring with a handkerchief saying "not you", "not you", until the picker reaches the desired chaser, places the handkerchief on the person's shoulder, and says "but you". The picker then runs around the outside of the circle pursued by the chaser. Once the chaser catches the picker, the chaser is entitled to lead the picker into the centre of the ring and claim a kiss. The original picker then takes the chaser's place in the ring and the chaser becomes the picker for the next round. Gomme describes various regional variations: In Shropshire, the two players run in opposite directions and compete to be first to reach the starting point; around London, the chase weaves in and out under the clasped hands of the other people in the ring. Gomme describes Drop Handkerchief as a variant in which there is no kissing. She also connects it to similar games such as French Jackie and Cat after Mouse.[2] Gomme suggests that " 'Kiss in the Ring' is probably a relic of the earliest form of marriage by choice or selection. The custom of dropping or sending a glove as a signal of a challenge may have been succeeded by the handkerchief in this game."[2] Daisy in the Dell A variation described in the 1919 book, Entertaining Made Easy by Emily Rose Burt, has children standing in a circle, joining hands. The daisy picker goes around the outside, saying "Daisy in the dell, I don't pick you … I do pick you."[3] Duck, Duck, Gray Duck "Duck, Duck, Gray Duck" is a variation played in Minnesota.[4][5] The core gameplay difference is that the picker taps the heads of the other players while duck calling "duck, duck,..." and then calls "gray duck!" to signal which player must chase the picker. The picker can make the game trickier, by calling various colors or adjectives that might sound like "gray duck," such as saying "Duck, duck, green duck, gross duck, grape duck, GRAY DUCK!" In some regions and variations, the caller may change the direction in which they run.[6] Drip, Drip, Drop "Drip, Drip, Drop" is another version played by children mostly in warmer climates. One player who is "it" goes around the circle with a container of water and "drips" a small amount on each person's head. They will then select someone in the circle to "drop" the entire container on top of them. This player will then try to tag the "it" before the "it" sits in the spot of the person who got "dropped" on. If "it" is tagged then they will remain "it" for another round.[7] Vrot Eier A similar, common Afrikaner game is called "vrot eier", meaning rotten egg. Instead of saying anything or pointing at anybody a token of some kind (usually a handkerchief) is carried by the one who is "it" going around the circle of sitting players. The token is then dropped behind one of the sitting players. Players are not allowed to look behind themselves, but can feel with their hands on the ground behind them. If the player behind which the token has been dropped discovers it, that player chases the one who dropped the token. If the player who was "it" is caught and tagged, that player will sit in the center of the circle and become a rotten egg ("vrot eier" ) and the player who did the chasing becomes the next one to be "it". If the player who was "it" was chased all the way around the circle, that player sits in the place of the player behind which the token was dropped. The chased player is then the next one to be "it". If the player behind which the token was dropped does not become aware of this by the time the "it" player has gone around the circle, the player so caught becomes another rotten egg to sit in the center. The "it" player then remains "it", picks up the token again and continues. The game can continue until there is only one person left that is not a rotten egg or more usually when the "rotten eggs" get tired of sitting in the center and demand to restart the game. Rumaal Chor A similar game to vrot eier is known as "Rumaal Chor" in Hindi speaking regions of India and by other names in rest of India. A "rumaal" or handkerchief is thrown by the picker and the players have to constantly search behind them using their hands to search for the handkerchief.[citation needed] Majhya Aaicha Patra Harawala This game is also played in the Indian state of Maharashtra, where it is referred to as Majhya Aaicha Patra Harawala in the local Marathi language, which literally means My mother's letter is lost. This phrase is shouted by the runner, while the kids sitting in the circle respond with Te mala sapadla (I found your mother's letter).

The AIM-9 Sidewinder is a short-range air-to-air missile which entered service with the US Navy in 1956 and subsequently was adopted by the US Air Force in 1964. Since then the Sidewinder has proved to be an enduring international success, and its latest variants are still standard equipment in most western-aligned air forces.[4] The Soviet K-13, a reverse-engineered copy of the AIM-9, was also widely adopted by a number of nations. Originally a tail-chasing system, early models saw extensive use during the Vietnam War but had a low success rate. This led to all-aspect capabilities in the L version which proved to be an extremely effective weapon during combat in the Falklands War and the Operation Mole Cricket 19 ("Bekaa Valley Turkey Shoot") in Lebanon. Its adaptability has kept it in service over newer designs like the AIM-95 Agile and SRAAM that were intended to replace it. The Sidewinder is the most widely used air-to-air missile in the West, with more than 110,000 missiles produced for the U.S. and 27 other nations, of which perhaps one percent have been used in combat. It has been built under license by some other nations including Sweden, and can even equip helicopters, such as the Bell AH-1Z Viper. The AIM-9 is one of the oldest, least expensive, and most successful air-to-air missiles, with an estimated 270 aircraft kills in its history of use.[7] When firing a Sidewinder,[i] NATO pilots use the brevity code FOX-2. The United States Navy hosted a 50th-anniversary celebration for the Sidewinder in 2002. Boeing won a contract in March 2010 to support Sidewinder operations through to 2055, guaranteeing that the weapons system will remain in operation until at least that date. Air Force Spokeswoman Stephanie Powell noted that due to its relatively low cost, versatility, and reliability it is "very possible that the Sidewinder will remain in Air Force inventories through the late 21st century".

I cried countless times watching this... this masterpiece. The entire time, I wept silently, in awe at the power of what I was witnessing. Even now, as I write this, I am tearing up a little bit. Airforceproud95 is, and always will be, a masterpiece above all others. It's unbelievable that he was created by mere mortals. I cannot convince myself that this man and game has not been lovingly crafted by God himself, touched by his divine influence. My sympathy for those who have not watched him is... endless, to put it simply. They will never know true joy, and I pity them greatly for that. Of course, they could just watch him and achieve enlightenment, but I truly think that those untouched by its beauty will be incinerated on contact with its insightful viewing. The raw power emanating from its physical form is far too much for a non-believer. I pity them. I pity them for the fact that they will never know the experience of Airforceproud95. When I first made contact with the channel, I was immediately and forcefully thrust from my corporeal form, and placed in front of a counsel of celestial beings, all of whom having complete control over the universe itself. After testifying to them, and expressing my desire to watch Airforceproud95, they allowed me to live, and I am now a changed man. I owe my life to Airforceproud95. I apologize for the long review, but I simply couldn't have expressed my feelings on this masterful work of art in anything less than what I have already written.

Pleasure is a broad class of mental states that humans and other conscious animals experience as positive, enjoyable, or worth seeking. It includes more specific mental states such as happiness, entertainment, enjoyment, ecstasy and euphoria. The early psychological concept of pleasure, the pleasure principle, describes it as a positive feedback mechanism that motivates the organism to recreate the situation it has just found pleasurable, and to avoid past situations that caused pain. The experience of pleasure is subjective and different individuals experience different kinds and amounts of pleasure in the same situation. Many pleasurable experiences are associated with satisfying basic biological drives, such as eating, exercise, hygiene, sleep, and sex. The appreciation of cultural artifacts and activities such as art, music, dancing, and literature is often pleasurable. Based upon the incentive salience model of reward - the attractive and motivational property of a stimulus that induces approach behavior and consummatory behavior - an intrinsic reward has two components: a "wanting" or desire component that is reflected in approach behavior, and a "liking" or pleasure component that is reflected in consummatory behavior. While all pleasurable stimuli are rewards, some rewards do not evoke pleasure.

Did you know you can take off with wings folded in the F-18 in FSX you just need about 12,700-15,000 feet of runway and full afterburner that’s to stay in the air for 10 seconds then activate the wing to fold out it works you can keep flying in regular configuration.

BOBCAT The brand name Bobcat is so popular and synonymous with skid-steer loaders, the general public sometimes mistake it for the name of the actual machine; this is also known as a proprietary eponym. If you Google this ('Google' being another proprietary eponym for 'Internet search'), Bobcat appears between household products (that are actually brand names) such as Panadol, Jacuzzi and Velcro. Bobcat equipment earned this fame and reputation because it was the first and remains the best in its field. Last year, Bobcat celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Bobcat skid-steer loader. Sixty years ago, Melroe Manufacturing Company, the forerunner to Bobcat Company, introduced a compact front-end loader that evolved quickly into the M-400, the world's first true skid-steer loader. The M-400 later adopted what became the world famous 'Bobcat' brand and its success created the global compact equipment industry we know today. Bobcat revolutionised the building industry with the invention of the skid-steer loader, and continues to lead the way in the design, manufacture and distribution of compact equipment for the construction, landscaping, agriculture and civil sectors. While the impact of World War II and the introduction of hydraulic systems in the late 1940s saw leaps and bounds in the development of large earthmoving equipment, there was still a gap in the market where manual labour was needed to move smaller volumes of materials or products in tight spaces that these big, cumbersome machines didn't suit. The inspiration for the Bobcat loader came from Eddie Velo, a turkey farmer from Minnesota, USA. He needed an easier way to clean the bird poop out of his two-storey barns that was more efficient than a man with a shovel and wheelbarrow. In 1957 he commissioned the Keller brothers, Cyril and Louis, to build him a light and compact machine that was able to turn around within its own length, while performing the same tasks as a conventional front-end loader. It had to be nimble and able to navigate around poles set eight feet apart, plus able to pivot, scrape and dump with a bucket or fork. Despite being rather rudimentary with two drive wheels, a small rear caster wheel and powered by a rope-starter, 6-horsepower engine, the Keller loader was an instant hit. It showed massive promise as a reliable and effective solution to a widespread problem, but the Kellers didn't have the means to mass-produce or market their creation. Some entrepreneur farming brothers from neighbouring North Dakota also saw the potential in the Keller loader. Melroe Manufacturing Company was the brainchild of inventor Edward Gideon "E.G." Melroe who pioneered agricultural machinery with several groundbreaking innovations. He died in 1955, leaving his sons in charge of the business. The Melroe brothers met with the Keller brothers in the summer of 1958 and were instantly impressed with their product, from its general capabilities through to the clever clutch drive mechanism. It was a match made in heaven and an agreement was struck - the Kellers joined the Melroe Manufacturing Company as employees with a royalty arrangement. They collaborated to introduce and demonstrate the revolutionary loader at the Minnesota State Fair, which was met with a rousing reception. The Kellers were immediately assigned to design and manufacture a Melroe-self-propelled loader.
