I’m not getting your notification so!!! But could you have used both bottom and top heat? Do you miss the paddle? I still haven’t gotten my second fryer yet. Such decisions’ n

Hi Sandi! I did use the bottom and top burner in this.it automatically is set to both burners turning on when you hit the french fries setting but you have the option to turn it off. This is very different from the multifry with the paddle. This makes things a lot crispier and not exactly 'faster' just crispier and you would have to stir things manually so yes I do miss the paddle but both are super nice to have.

Use canola oil but I don't like fresh cut fries in an air fryer so I use the DeLonghi deep fryer beside my DeLonghi air crisper it's only used for meat and you can get a rack from Cabela's that will fit in the bottom of that to cook a roast

Papa...33 years of that tapping and I catch it right away now lol ..I am so blessed that he does these with me though cause this stuff intimidates me a little..I just know how to cook lol..so I appreciate him helping me with them..this little super appliance is beautiful...does what it says it's suppose to..crisps things up..love it. it's a good product but why there's no shut down button ? you can start and stop the fryer but you can't shutdown

It's digital and will stay 'on' while plugged in..the lighted keyboard anyway..if you hold the start button down it stops running

Wow!! Those turned out perfectly. I haven’t told you yet, I was too sad to mention it but I had to return my second DeLonghi😞It quit working and I called and they said it was a factory defect and a reset was needed and I had to return it. I didn’t get a replacement, just got a refund. It’s my luck, I’m not writing them off because I know yours works overtime and has lasted. I’m gonna get one of these for sure. Thanks for sharing 😃

Dear manufacturers: Moving forward, I will assume that any clear windows is made of plastic, and any non-stick coating is teflon. I'm done trying to track down this information, which is basically the majority of what people care about. I will not be purchasing or recommending your product.
