Nice shooting. The PARD looks great. How you like the field of view? Most thermals the field of view is tight. I use a FLIR hand held tracker and thats the big negative when tracking hogs in the brush where its tight.

Have you tried any others thermals? I have been thinking about selling my agm fuzion TM35-640 and replacing it with a scope and the sa62 looks promising. I just fear it wont be as clear as I hope.

Can you enter ballistic data for 22 LR on this scope?

Absolutely. You are able to plug in ballistic data for any caliber, including Airguns and Powder Burners.

Ground squirrels are not edible. They are farmyard pest that live underground and carry disease.

I have had nothing but issues with my SA62-35 thermal. The first one I ordered directly from PARD had a bad thermal image sensor. There was a blurry line that ran from the top of the image to the bottom of the image. The blurry line was also in the recorded videos, so it was not an LCD screen issue. I spent $80 to ship it back, I was told that they would refund the shipping, but I was not refunded for the shipping. The second SA62-35 was ordered through Optics Planet, and it also had issues. There was a thermal gradient of hot to cold from the bottom left of the image to the top right of the image. There was also a "ghost image" that would stick around until the thermal did its refresh cycle. I tried updating the firmware, and the issue persisted. Thankfully, Optics Planet has a good return policy!

Oh, these armchair experts... Blocher has never used it on a real hunt, but sits there praising something he hasn’t used... Let's start with the fact that this device PARD 62LRF has a huge amount of defects!!! Starting with the little things - on the very first hunt the stupid thin cover on the lens falls off. The functionality of the terribly inconvenient small buttons is too OVERLOADED - each button has FOUR functions and at the moment of firing, you can’t remember which button how many times to press to change something in the mode - as a result, nerves and a miss... The stupid Picture-in-Picture function only interferes with the shot, and even LIES!!! In the main window the rest is on the target and in the picture it is above the target! As a result, you miss if you aim with this picture... Next, after about 20 shots from the 308 Win, dead pixels begin to appear, which glow red and distract from the real target. Next - When firing without a flash suppressor at the end of the barrel, the device goes blind and freezes after the shot - you don’t see anything... Further - in winter the battery runs out three times faster and when you are sitting on the trail and after three hours an animal comes - THE DEVICE GOES OUT and you, frozen to the bone, begin to frantically change the battery with crooked fingers and the animal runs away from the rustling... Well, a ballistic calculator is a useless toy because sitting in the bushes at night you won’t be able to calculate it because it catches all the bushes and branches and shows the wrong distance... Good luck with wasting $4,000 on a kid's toy!

Are you referring to me having never used it? I use the ones that I have regularly. I have not experienced what you’re describing but I’d suggest contacting Pard for a service request. I can’t speak to temperature issues because the climate in my area does not go to low extremes but it does go to highs and I still haven’t encountered any issues. Hope you get things resolved.
