These are definitely really close to a real Glock in looks and everything but field stripping is slightly different procedure. So... to field strip all you need to do is pull down the little tabs above the trigger well and while you're still pulling down on the tabs push forward on the back of the slide and it will come right off. No need to depress the trigger at all. Hope that helps.

@@AirgunChannel Yoiu have to rack the slide to cock the internal hammer then do as the person said, it's the same as the airsoft version and comes apart like a real Glock, except you don't pull the trigger after it's cocked, if it isn't cocked the internal hammer will prevent you from taking the slide off.

4:35, you can field strip it. You just don't know how to. Pull on both sides of the tabs down, rack the slide back all the way, and push it forward while having the 2 tabs pushed down.

gen4 is cheap quality, breaks apart easily, i had mine for 2 weeks and after some use internals had something chipped out and now the trigger is dead, i field stripped it and cleaned it, oiled it, its just cheap

Sweet video. I just ordered this. (From Pyramid). I should have watched this first. Answered all my questions. I have multiple glocks, and Umarex AS glocks. These .177 cal BB glocks are half the price of the airsoft ones. I started worrying about that, so I looked up a video. You have put all my worries at rest. The gun appears to perform perfectly at the proper distance for a pistol. For practice (and fun) 7 yards, (21 ft) is a great distance for home defense. Usually even closer. If it performs that well at 7 yards. I'm happy 😊. Appreciate you!✌️🇺🇸

@@AirgunChannel Yea! I love co2 replicas. Got around 30 of them myself, which of only a couple are revolvers. Mostly like modern pistol models, which of my faves probably are the Sig P226 X-FIVE, the CZ Shadow2 and P-09. Got that gen4 G17 also, but I prefer the HK USP blowback which is basically built the exact same way as this gen4 G17. Mostly been into these pistols cuz they often way cool - and they cost relatively way less than decent PCP rifles...and the pistols take less storage space than rifles..😁😁

@@redeyezreaperx1601 Mostly a personal preference. Both internally built quite similarly when comparing the two (HK of course also has it's separate frame safety). The USP just suited me better. And the USP was way more spot on target, as my gen4 G17 shot way too low.

I love these replica pistols, especially the Glock series. I own all of them, at least all of the BB pistols that have been released in the USA. I could be wrong, but I think there may be some models that have been released overseas that arent released here. I dont know why Umarex does that, but hopefully someday theyll release eveverything to everyone. Great video showcasing a great gun. This model is definitely the best, in my opinion. That depends how far you are. YOu have to practice at different ranges to see where it hits. The top of the site should be the center of your bullet when back and front sights are alligned.
